Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the type and basic parameters of caliper disc brake. JB/T 7156
This standard applies to tire loaders with a machine weight of 3.5~~38t, and also to tire vehicles such as scrapers and graders. 2 Types and basic parameters
2.1 Type
The type of caliper disc brake is a fixed-caliper double-space opposed type. According to the number of pistons, it is divided into the following three types: a.
Single-piston two-way opposed type;
Double-piston two-way opposed type;
Three-piston two-way opposed type.
2.2 Basic parameters
2.2.1 The diameter of the brake disc shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table 1

Note: The dimensions in brackets are non-preferred dimensions
The diameter of the hydraulic cylinder and the outer diameter of the brake shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. Table 2

(②)The size series in brackets are non-preferred ones. ③ Any dimension in the brake disc diameter D in Table 1 and any dimension in the hydraulic cylinder diameter in Table 2 can be combined to form a derived series (brake disc diameter × hydraulic cylinder diameter), which is not preferred. 299
Calculation of braking torque
The calculation of braking torque is in accordance with formula (A1):

Where: M—braking torque of a caliper disc brake. N·m; p
hydraulic cylinder pressure, MPa;
hydraulic cylinder area, mm2,
effective braking radius, m;
number of hydraulic cylinders.
Calculation of effective braking radius
The effective braking radius R is the distance from the center of the hydraulic cylinder to the center of the brake disc. The calculation is based on formula (A2): R
