This standard is a revision of JB/T53389-94 "Medium and light mechanical seals". This standard replaces JB/T53389-94 from the date of implementation. Appendix A of this standard is the appendix of the standard.

This standard specifies the quality grade indicators and inspection and sampling methods for medium and light mechanical seals. This standard applies to medium and light mechanical seals, the fluids sealed are liquids. This standard does not apply to metal bellows mechanical seals. 2 Referenced standards

The inspection items for mechanical seal products shall be in accordance with the requirements of Table 5, among which the operation test shall be carried out at 0-80℃, and the other inspection conditions and methods shall be in accordance with the requirements of GB/T14211 and JB/T6619.1. The dimensional tolerance of rubber seals is tested by optical projection method. 4.2
The disassembly inspection of mechanical seal products shall be in accordance with Appendix A (Appendix to the standard). 5 Sampling
The number of inspected products shall be in accordance with Table 5.
