Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Determination of water-soluble sulfate in Y·Fe20 magnetic powder
Subject content and scope of applicationwwW.bzxz.Net
This standard specifies the method for determining the water-soluble sulfate content in Y·Fc2O, magnetic powder for magnetic recording. HG/T2347.5--92
This standard is applicable to the determination of water-soluble sulfate content in ·Fe,O, magnetic powder and modified ·Fc,O, magnetic powder for magnetic recording. 2 Method Summary
Use nitriding solution to precipitate sulfuric acid from the water extraction filtrate of ·Fc,O, magnetic powder, and then filter, dry and weigh. Calculate the water-soluble sulfate content.
3 Reagents and solutions
All reagents used are analytical grade.
Hydrochloric acid solution 1+1;
3.2Barium chloride solution: ℃0
BaCl)=0.5mol/L;
3.3.Silver nitrate solution: c(AgNO,)=0.1mol/L;3.4Distilled water or water with the same purity as distilled water. 4Instruments
4.1General laboratory instruments;
4.2Glass filter: pore size 4~16μm.
5Determination steps
Take at least two samples for parallel determination
5.1Weigh about 10g (accurate to 0.001g)·Fe20, magnetic powder sample, put it in a 500mL beaker, add 150mL distilled water, stir and boil for 5min, filter it with a glass filter while it is hot, and rinse the y·Fe,0, magnetic powder on the filter with hot distilled water 5~6 times. Transfer the filtrate to a 250mL volumetric flask, add distilled water to the mark, shake well, and set aside. 5.2 Use a pipette to draw 50mL of the solution, inject it into a 250mL conical flask, add 1mL of hydrochloric acid solution to acidify, boil, and add 10mL of chloride solution dropwise under constant stirring to precipitate barium sulfate. 5.3 Filter with a glass filter that has been constant-weighted at 150±5℃, rinse the precipitate with distilled water until there is no chloride ion (check with silver nitrate solution), transfer to a constant-temperature drying oven at 150±5℃, dry for 2h, move to a desiccator to cool to room temperature, and weigh (accurate to 0.001g). Heat and dry again for at least 30min, cool in a desiccator, and weigh. Repeat this operation until the difference between two consecutive weighings does not exceed 0.005g, and record the lower weighing value. Calculate the percentage of water-soluble sulfate (in terms of SO.) according to the following formula: Standard approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on June 1, 1992 mm.b SO; CCM various standards industry data download 1993-03-01 implementation
HG/T2347.5-92
Where: m,---mass of sulphuric acid precipitate, g: mo---mass of Fe,O, magnetic powder sample, g; 0.343-coefficient of sulphuric acid converted to SO. Allowable error
×0.343×5×100
The allowable difference of the parallel determination results of this method is less than 10% of the higher value. The arithmetic mean of the parallel determination results is taken as the determination result and reported to the second decimal place. Additional remarks:
This standard is proposed by the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Magnetic Recording Material Standardization Technical Unit of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. This standard was drafted by the First Film Factory of the Ministry of Chemical Industry and Guangzhou Magnetic Material Chemical Factory.
