1 Scope of application
1.1 This standard applies to 35mm non-anamorphic, anamorphic films and 16mm non-anamorphic films. 1.2 This standard specifies the position and size of subtitles for 35mm and 16mm film distribution films. 2. Position and size of subtitles. 2.1 The position and size of subtitles are shown in Figure 1, Figure 2 and Table 1. UDC 778. 534 GB529T—85 2.1.1 The perpendicular bisector of dimension A in Figure 1, Figure 2 and Table 1 coincides with the vertical centerline of the picture. 2.1.2 For rotating or continuously moving subtitles, if they move in the up and down directions, their left and right parts shall be subject to the restrictions of this standard, while if they move in the back and right directions, their upper and lower parts shall be subject to the restrictions of this standard.
