The method of environmental test for analytical instrumentsSalt mist test
1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the salt spray test conditions and test methods for analytical instruments (hereinafter referred to as instruments). This standard is not applicable to general corrosion tests, and this standard is not applicable to instruments working in saline atmospheres. 2 Test conditions
2.1 Requirements for test equipment
2.1.1 The material of the test equipment must be resistant to salt spray corrosion and must not affect the test results. 2.1.2 Salt spray must not be sprayed directly onto the instrument. 2.1.3 Water droplets gathered on the top and walls of the test equipment must not drip onto the instrument. 2.1.4 The air pressure inside and outside the test equipment must be balanced. GB 11606.13---89
2.2 Salt solution
2.2.1 The salt solution is prepared with NaCl (chemically pure or above) and distilled water, and its concentration is 5±0.1% (weight ratio). The collected liquid after atomization shall not be reused except for the part returned by the baffle. 2.2.2 The pH value of the salt solution before atomization is between 6.5 and 7.2 (35℃). When preparing the salt solution, it is allowed to use dilute hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide aqueous solution of chemically pure or above to adjust the pH value, but the concentration must still comply with the provisions of Article 2.2.1. 2.2.3 Use a funnel with an area of 80 cm to collect the salt spray precipitation after continuous atomization for 16 hours. The precipitation rate at any position in the effective space is 1.0~2.0 mL/(h.80 cm)
2.3 The temperature in the effective test space of the test equipment is 35±2℃. 2.4 Test duration
Continuous atomization is used during the test. The test duration is 16, 24, and 48 hours. 3 Test method
3.1 Initial inspection
Before the test, the instrument must be visually inspected and other performance inspections must be carried out in accordance with relevant standards. The instrument surface must be clean, free of oil and temporary protective layer. 3.2 Test
3.2.1 There is a distance between the instruments, which does not affect the free fall of salt spray on the instruments; the salt solution on one instrument shall not drip on other instruments.
3.2.2 The relevant standards for test time are selected according to Article 2.4. 3.3 Recovery
After the test, wash the salt deposits on the surface of the instrument gently with running water, and then rinse it in distilled water. The washing water temperature shall not exceed 35°C. Then restore it under normal environmental conditions for 1 to 2 hours. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China on March 25, 1989 28
Implementation on March 1, 1990
3.4 Final Inspection
Inspect the instrument according to the relevant standards. The relevant standards shall specify the details when citing this standard 4
