Environmental conditions existing in the application of electric and electronic products—Part 4:Stationary use at non-weather-protected locations
Introduction to standards:
This standard specifies the classification of environmental parameter groups and their severity levels encountered by products used in fixed places without weather protection during installation, shutdown, maintenance and repair. Products used in fixed places without weather protection, permanently or temporarily, include impact sites and offshore. Products used on and in vehicles are excluded. This standard specifies environmental conditions that are limited to those that directly affect product performance. Only environmental conditions of this type are considered. The impact of these environmental conditions on the product is not described. Environmental conditions caused by fire, explosion and ionizing radiation are not considered, nor are other unexpected accidents. In special cases, the probability of these factors occurring should be considered. The microclimate inside the product is not included. Fixed use in weather-protected places, portable and non-fixed use, vehicle and ship use, storage and transportation conditions are specified in other parts of GB/T4798. A limited number of environmental condition levels cover a wide range of application locations. Users of this standard should choose the lowest level that covers the expected use conditions. This part is used simultaneously with GB/T479810—2006; the terms and definitions established in GB/T11804—2005 apply to this part. Installation usually stops work. The user should distinguish such situations from the use of the product. Unless otherwise specified, other levels should be selected at this time. The probability of exceeding the specified severity is very low. All specified values are maximum or limit values. These values may be reached, but they will not appear for a long time. The frequency of severity varies from place to place over a period of time. This standard does not consider such occurrence rates, but the frequency of occurrence of any environmental parameter should be considered. If necessary, additional provisions will be made. The frequency and period of occurrence are specified in GB/T4798.102006. It should be noted that the occurrence of several specified environmental parameters at the same time may increase the impact on the product. This is particularly obvious when biological conditions, chemical substances and mechanically active substances appear at high relative concentrations at the same time. The environmental conditions at a certain location may be affected by other factors, such as heat sources, special process conditions, etc. 1
..comGB/T 4798.4—2007
The measurement base of the environmental conditions at a certain location should be selected around the product. It should be recognized that there are extreme and special environmental conditions. Products used in such special environments shall be determined by negotiation between the supply and demand parties. 4 Classification of environmental parameter groups and their severity classification Tables 1 to 6 list a series of environmental condition levels: climatic conditions (K), special climatic conditions (Z), biological conditions (B), chemically active substances (C), mechanically active substances (S) and mechanical parts (M) The possible combination of environmental conditions encountered by the product constitutes a series of categories, representing the actual situation of worldwide application, depending on the outdoor climate, building structure, installation, process conditions, etc. Higher numerical environmental condition levels usually include lower numerical environmental condition levels. Some parameters cannot quantitatively specify the severity. For a given location and product, a set of grade combinations should be selected, such as: 5K2/4Z1/4Z4/4Z6/4B1/4C2/4S2/4M4 Appendix A explains the basis for the environmental condition grades, lists the use sites included in each grade, and gives the circumstances that affect the selection of environmental parameters and their severity.
The appendix includes a diagram of the relationship between air humidity, relative humidity and absolute humidity. Appendix C gives examples of the application of environmental parameter classification. 4.1 Climate conditions
The climate conditions specified in 4K1 to 4K4 refer to the outdoor climate group in CB/T 4797.1-2005. The temperature and humidity reference values are annual averages.
In places without climate protection, the influence of special climate conditions on products and their components is greater than in places with climate protection. In particular, temperature changes, solar radiation, precipitation, air velocity, and cold wind should be considered in this case. These severity levels are affected by the structure of the system (e.g. material type and thickness, surface color, enclosure sealing or ventilation, product heat dissipation, etc.) and the specific installation (e.g. choice of installation site, exposure to climate and degree of ventilation, etc.). 4.2 Special climatic conditions
In practice, thermal radiation, ambient air movement, water from rainfall and low pressure parameters may occur simultaneously with other climatic conditions with arbitrary severity. Therefore, these parameters are specified in the special conditions of Table 2. In this case, assuming that several conditions with increasing severity occur simultaneously will lead to unreasonable design. 4.3 Biological conditions
No quantitative severity level is specified for biological conditions. The parameters specified are representative but not complete. 4.4 Chemically active substances
Natural pollution mainly comes from chemical emissions from industrial activities, driving vehicles and heating systems. More serious chemical pollution comes from sea salt smoke. The combination of chemical pollution will affect the materials and properties of the product. The values given in the classification are the result of several years of observation. Since the direct impact of high concentrations in the short term can lead to more serious damage to materials or even make them irreversible, the maximum values are given in the table. The average values are given in addition because they play an important role in the long-term impact on the internal components of the product. In fact, it is impossible for all pollutants in this section to appear at the same time. Even if these pollutants appear at the same time and the concentration increases, the possibility is small. Different places often have only one type of pollution with a higher concentration. The specified values of grade 4C1 correspond to rural areas. The specified values of grade 4C2 correspond to urban areas. Therefore, the severity of these two grades meets the results of the combined effect of all parameters. The severity of grades 4C3 and 4C1 cannot be considered to meet the results of the combined effect of all parameters, otherwise it will lead to unreasonable design. For grades IC3 and 4Cl, only a single parameter corresponding to special use can be selected. In places where chemically active substances appear, a single parameter in grades 4C3 and 4C1 can be selected, and other parameters not mentioned can be selected from the values in grade 4C2. Note: Chemically active substrates and chemically active solids other than sea salt and road salt are not considered in this section. 4.5 Mechanically active substances
Sand and dust are local environmental factors because their effects are similar. 2
..com4.6 Mechanical conditions
Sinusoidal vibration is classified according to acceleration and displacement amplitude, corresponding to different frequency ranges. Random vibration is not considered in this section and will be considered when sufficient data is available. GB/T 4798.4--2007
Non-steady-state exploration including shock is classified according to the first-level undamped maximum shock response spectrum, see GB/T47962001.5 Environmental condition level combination
The environmental condition group consists of a series of possible combinations of product environmental conditions. The number and flexibility of combinations are very large. In fact, this flexibility is not always beneficial. For example, when different parties discuss environmental condition documents, there will definitely be minor differences that interfere. In general, in order to avoid this possibility, select the severity level standard combination from Table 7. For a given location and product, refer to this part, for example, select IE12. Only when the standard does not include the required severity level combination, the environmental condition level combination can be selected according to Chapter 4. On the contrary, if the severity of some parameters is different from the level specified in the standard, the combination should be expressed as follows: "but... (parameter... <severity and unit)", for example, IE42 but sand is 30mg/m. Appendix D gives a description of the combined environmental conditions. Table 1 Climate condition level

Low and high relative fades are limited by low and high absolute fading. Therefore, for the environmental parameters "low fading and "low relative fading" or "high temperature and "high relative fading", the severity levels specified in Table 1 will not appear at the same time. See Table B for the relationship between air temperature and humidity. The temperature change rate is calculated as the average value over a period of smin. 70 kPa represents the limit for outdoor use, usually at sea level of about 3000 m. In some geographical areas, outdoor The use may be higher than 3000m. For some limited use below 3000m, the value can be obtained from Table 2. Rainwater temperature should be considered together with air humidity and solar radiation. The cooling effect of rainwater should be related to the product surface temperature 3

Explanation of conditions affecting the selection of environmental parameters and severity GB/T 4798.4m2007
This appendix explains the basis of each level, gives the explanation of conditions affecting the selection of environmental parameters and severity, and also includes a summary of the components covered by each level.
A. 2 Explanation of conditions
For each environmental parameter, various possible use sites are given, which may constitute environmental conditions of different environmental levels. The environmental conditions of the use site are sorted in reverse order of severity. Table A1 to Table A, 5 refer to the environmental conditions of the use site. In the level column, "×" represents the level of the use site. The first "×" encountered from left to right is the lowest level for the place of use. The above steps for determining the appropriate level apply to all parts, but Table 1 gives additional factors for climate types, which should be noted when selecting the level.
Read vertically along the climate type column and horizontally along the place of use. The first \×\ encountered in the level column from the first "×" between the two is the lowest level covering the place of use. The climate types specified in IEC 60721-2-1 are as follows: Extreme cold (excluding the center of Antarctica), cold, warm, warm, dry, moderately dry, extremely dry, humid, and constant humid. The climate types of my country and their corresponding relationship with the climate types of IEC are shown in Appendix F. It should be pointed out that if a certain level covers a place of use in this appendix, this does not mean that every environmental parameter of the level constitutes the minimum environmental severity of the place of use. A.2.1 Climate conditions A.2.1.1 Climate conditions related to climate types Table A.1 describes the application list of climate environment parameters and places of use, climate types and climate condition levels.
