JB/T 8492-96 This standard is formulated with reference to ISO9188:1993 (F) "Machine Tools - Parameters and Dimensions of Closed Single-Action Mechanical Force Machines with Nominal Force of 400kV to 4000kN" (hereinafter referred to as IS) standard), combined with the requirements of double-action sheet metal drawing process and parts for parameters and dimensions of hydraulic presses. The basic parameters and dimension tables in this standard are neither in the form of ISO standards nor in the form of other current parameter standards in this industry. The main reason is that the selection range of parameters and sizes specified in ISO standards is too large, which is inconvenient for users to select products (this refers to "parameters and sizes", the same below) and manufacturers' designs, while the selection range of parameters and sizes of other current parameter standards in this industry is too narrow to meet the needs of the market. Therefore, this standard combines the different characteristics of ISO standards and other current parameter standards in this industry, and for the first time in this industry, formulates the parameter standard of "selecting parameters and sizes within a certain range by using corresponding or cross methods"; due to the different structures and performances of hydraulic presses, the parameter items of this standard are determined by the specific functions and characteristics of hydraulic presses; this standard also refers to the provisions of ISO standards, and especially emphasizes that the parameter standard "does not limit the selection of users and the design of manufacturers".
