This part should be used in conjunction with GB4706.1-1998 "General Requirements for Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances". This part is a revision of GB4706.27—1992. The original part was compiled by equivalently adopting IEC60342-1:1981 and its No. 1 amendment, and was used in conjunction with GB4706.1—1992. Since GB4706.1—1992 was revised as GB4706.1—1998 (equivalent to IEC60335-1:1991 and No. 1 amendment in 1994), the relationship of use cannot be established. Therefore, this revision is a revision of the version, and the technical content and formatting have changed.
This part shall replace GB4706.27-19924 "Particular requirements for safety of electric fans and speed regulators for household and similar electrical appliances" from the date of implementation.
