This standard is formulated to effectively and correctly implement GB28 Safety Signs, standardize the use of safety signs, improve people's prevention ability, and reduce the occurrence of accidents. This standard is formulated through research and scientific analysis, and strives to be scientific, reasonable and practical. International Organization for Standardization IS () technology has no such standard abroad.
This standard specifies the scope and location of safety sign graphics, the selection of plastics, the setting height and the requirements for chain use. It was implemented on October 1, 1986.
