Safety Technical Requirements for Inflatable Water Toys
This standard specifies the safety technical requirements and test methods for inflatable water toys QB 1557--92
This standard is applicable to various inflatable toys made of polyethylene oxide film for children to use in shallow water without losing air. 2 Reference Standards
GB6675
Safety of Toys
.3.1 Air Nozzle
The part installed on the air box for inflating and deflation. 32 Airbag
A small part that plugs the air nozzle to isolate the air inside and outside. 3.3 A small chamber that can let in air, which is the buoyancy source of air toys. 4 Technical requirements
4.1 The buoyancy of air toys in water is at least 49N. 4.2 When the product is not airtight, it should have 2 or more independent air chambers when its maximum length is greater than 76cm. When the air chamber is damaged, the buoyancy of other airtight air chambers in water is also at least 49N. 4.3 The thickness of the soft polyvinyl fluoride ball membrane used in the product air chamber should not be less than the following value. The maximum length of the product (en)
Not greater than
Material thickness (m)
After applying the following air pressure to each air chamber and sealing it for 30 or more seconds, no rupture or separation of the joint parts shall occur. Maximum circumference of air chamber (em)
2040 or less
40~70 or less
70~100 or less
100~130 or less
130 or more
Air pressure·(Pa)
4.5 The air nozzle of phosgene water toys should have a one-way control valve ||tt| ... 852 The sealing performance of the nozzle should be good, and there should be no leakage after the test in accordance with 5.5. 4.6 The reverse connection of the nozzle and the air plug shall not be pulled apart when subjected to the following forces. When the maximum contact distance of the connection is aN, the force is N when the maximum contact distance of the connection is greater than 6mm. Accessories such as ropes, belts and their mountings shall not break or fall off after the test in accordance with 5.7. 4.7
4.8 The color of the toy should be bright and in sharp contrast with the background of the water.
4.9 The product should have a permanent safety mark in Chinese or English printed on the landing position not more than 100mm away from the valve. The height of the mark should be no less than 1m in uppercase letters and the height should be at least 100mm. The Chinese version of the safety mark is "WARNING: NOT A LIFE SAVING DEVICE, USE ONLY IN SHALLOW WATER UNDER ADULT". The English version of the safety mark is WARNING, NOT A LIFE SAVING DEVICE, USE ONLY IN SHALLOW WATER UNDER ADULT. SUPERVISION\In addition, the "size" and "size" must be indicated to indicate the size. For example, workers use
to indicate the size. For example, 100×100 (cm)
Swimming rings only need to indicate the vertical length, and floating boats only need to indicate the maximum size. 4.10 Inflatable water toys with a structure at the bottom for children's feet to enter should meet the following structure. a. The circumference of the hole for children's feet (one) to enter should be more than 35cm. b. The edges around the hole should be smooth!
e. The product should be a structure that is not easy to overturn. The size ratio of the front part to the bottom is specified as 45 (see Figure d). Products with handles should use soft polyvinyl chloride molded handles:
e. To support the child For products with seats and holes, the thickness of the seat part should be 0.30mm or more, which is 66% of the length of the baby's foot. 4.11 The content of the special elements in the coating material of the product should comply with the relevant provisions of GB6675. 4.12 The surface of the product and the coating should be firmly bonded, without obvious migration and bottom exposure. The printed pattern is clear and beautiful, the main parts are in the right color, and the core is good. The 10 test strips are made from the cloth to show that it is a living father. The packaging and instruction manual of the product must comply with the relevant provisions of GB6675. 5 Test method 5.1 General test principles 5.1.1 The test environment temperature is 23℃. 1557-92
5.7.2·During the product test, except for special requirements in 4.4, the inflation pressure in the air chamber should be filled in the state of use (about 3200±200Pa).
5.1.3 The maximum circumference of the air chamber is measured along the direction of the maximum tensile force of the material after being inflated according to the requirements of 5.1.2. 5.2 After the sample is inflated according to 5.1, it is placed in water. After applying a load of 49N, the product shall not be completely immersed in the water. 5.3 For products with two or more independent air valves, when the largest air chamber is not inflated, the other air valves are inflated according to 5.1 and placed in water. After applying a load of 49N, the product shall not be completely immersed in water. If the size of the air chambers of the product is equal, the above test can be carried out when any of its air chambers is not inflated. 5.4 Use a sharp blade to cut the polyethylene film sample on the flat surface of the product. The minimum height of the sample should be 80mml×20mm. Use a thickness gauge with an accuracy of 0.001mm to measure 5 points on the diagonal of the sample at random; take the arithmetic mean. Check whether the elastic membrane meets the requirements of Article 4.3.
5.5 After the product is inflated as specified in Article 4.4, turn the root of the air nozzle 90° to one side, then fold 180″ in the opposite direction, and then return to its original position. This is called one cycle. The test is repeated 10 times at a frequency of 28-times. After completion, check whether the product meets the requirements of Article 4.5.
5.6 For the air nozzle fixed on the product, use a dynamometer to apply the specified tensile force in any direction within 3 cells at the connection between the air nozzle and the air plug and maintain it for 10 seconds to check whether the product meets the requirements of Article 4.6. 5.7 For products equipped with accessories such as ropes and belts, when not inflated, apply a force of 7k to the ropes, belts, etc. Attachment and keep 105, check whether the product meets the requirements of Article 4.7. 5.8 The content test of harmful elements in the coating material of the product shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB6675. .5.9 Use a moistened white cotton cloth to apply a pressure of 5N, and touch the coating on the surface of the product back and forth three times at a speed of 3cm/s. The coating should meet the requirements of Article 4.12.
