National Standard of the People's Republic of China Packaging-Transport Packages Spray Test Method Packaging-Complete, filled transport packages-Water spray test GB/T4857.9-—92 Replaces GB 4857.9--86 This standard is equivalent to ISO2875-1985 "Packaging-Complete, filled transport packages-Spray test". 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures and test report contents of the test equipment used in the spray test of transport packages. This standard is applicable to the assessment of the resistance of transport packages to rain and the protection of the packaging to the contents. It can be used as a single test or as part of a series of tests. 2 Reference standards GB/T4857.1 Method of marking various parts during the test of packaging and transportation packages GB/T4857.2 Temperature and humidity adjustment treatment of packaging and transportation packages GB/T4857.17 Preparation of performance test outline for packaging and transportation packages General principles 3 Test principles Place the test sample on the test site and spray it with water at a certain temperature for a predetermined time and rate. 4 Test equipment 4.1 Test site The area of the test site should be at least 50% larger than the bottom area of the test sample, so that the test sample is within the spraying area. If it is necessary to control the temperature of the test site, the site can be insulated or heated. The site floor should be equipped with a grid floor and a drainage port of sufficient capacity so that the sprayed water can be automatically drained away and the test sample will not be soaked in water. The height of the test site should be appropriate so that the distance between the water nozzle and the top of the test package is at least 2m to ensure that the water can drip vertically. 4.2 Spraying device The spraying device should meet the water spraying rate of 100±20L/(m2·h). The sprayed water should be fully uniform, and the height of the nozzle should be adjustable so that the distance between the nozzle and the top of the test sample can be at least 2m. 5 Calibration Install the nozzle 2m above the grid floor surface. Place several identical top-opening containers evenly on the floor, requiring that they should cover at least 25% of the floor area. The top opening area of each container should be between 0.25 and 0.5m2. Its height should be between 0.25 and 0.5m. National Technical Supervision Approved on April 4, 1992 Implementation on February 1, 1993 GB/T 4857.9—92 Then turn on the nozzle and measure the time it takes for the first and last containers to be filled with water. The time required to fill the first container with water shall not be less than the time required to spray water at a rate of 120L/(m2·h); the time required to fill the last container with water shall not be more than the time required to spray water at a rate of 80L/(m2h). 6 Test procedureWww.bzxZ.net 6.1 Preparation of test samples Prepare the test samples in accordance with the requirements of GB/T4857.17. 6.2 Numbering of various parts of the test samples Number various parts of the test samples in accordance with the provisions of GB/T4857.1. 6.3 Pretreatment of test samples Select a condition for pretreatment in accordance with the requirements of GB/T4857.2. If the same conditions cannot be achieved, the test must be carried out under atmospheric conditions that are as close as possible. 6.4 Test steps 6.4.1 Adjust the height of the nozzle so that the distance between the nozzle and the nearest point on the top of the test package is at least 2m. Turn on the nozzle until the entire system reaches a balanced state. Unless otherwise specified, the temperature of the water spray and the test site temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C. 6.4.2 After the water sprayed by the entire system reaches stability, place the test sample. 6.4.3 Place the test sample in the center of the test site so that water can fall on the test sample according to the calibration standard and spray continuously for a predetermined time. 6.4.4 Check the tested package and its contents to see if there is any degradation of waterproof performance or water seepage. 7 Test Report The test report should include the following contents: The name, specification, model, quantity, etc. of the contents of the package: the number of test samples; Detailed description of the name, size, structure and material specifications of the packaging container, accessories, cushioning pads, supports, fixing methods, seals, bundling status and other protective measures The mass of the test samples and contents, in kilograms; the name and code of the standards cited during the test: the temperature, relative humidity and time during the temperature and humidity adjustment treatment, the temperature of the test site and the temperature of the water; the location of the package on the test site; The name and model of the equipment and instruments used in the test; the duration of the test; The record of the test results, and any phenomena observed that can help to correctly interpret the test results; the test date, the signature of the test personnel, and the seal of the testing unit. 277 Additional Notes: GB/T 4857.9—92 This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China.
