This label can also provide other information, such as the name and chemical formula of the gas in the cylinder, the name and chemical molecular formula of the components of the mixed gas, and additional instructions on the precautions to be taken. The basic requirements for the design, affixing and use of such labels are to make the content on the label clearly visible and easy to identify during the use of the gas cylinder. The international standard of 1997 is consistent with ten standards on the transport of dangerous goods: European standards for the international road transport of dangerous goods formulated by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) International Maritime Dangerous Goods Regulations (IM[G) developed by the Intergovernmental Maritime Advisory Organization (I>M) of the Agreement on the International Civil Aviation (AR). Appendix 1 of the International Civil Aviation Treaty and Technical Guidelines for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (Document No.: 9284) developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAAO) International Regulations for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Rail (RID) developed by the International Railway Transport Authority (OTI): Construction of the United Nations Social and Economic Commission for the Transport of Dangerous Goods (VN/ECOSOC) developed by the United Nations Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. 1 Scope National Standard of the People's Republic of China Gas Cylinder Warning Label Precautionary Labels for gas cylinders This standard specifies the style, production method and application of warning labels for gas cylinders. G13161631996 Classification of compressed gas in bottles 3 Terms This standard adopts the following definitions. 3-1 Main hazard characteristics Reflects the main hazard characteristics of the medium. 3.2 Important hazard characteristics Reflects the important hazard characteristics of the medium compared with the main hazard characteristics. 4 The determination of the main hazardous characteristics and secondary hazardous characteristics of the bottled medium shall be determined according to GB16163-1996 and various gas-related standards. 5 The style and production method of the warning label 5.1 In case The warning label consists of two parts: the front label and the bottom label: 1) Graphic symbols are printed on the front label to indicate the hazardous characteristics of the bottled gas. When the bottled gas has two or three hazardous characteristics at the same time, two or one front label should be used. When two or one front label is used, the secondary hazard warning front label should be placed on the right or side of the primary hazard warning front label. The basic arrangement of the front label is shown in Figure 1. Other similar arrangements can also be used, but it should be noted that the main hazard front label should be pasted on the secondary hazard front label. b) The bottom label has the name and chemical formula of the bottled gas, and the front label is pasted on it. The label and the bottom label can be printed as a whole or made separately and then pasted on the gas cylinder. Figure 1 is an example of pasting the front label and the bottom label. Appendix A (indicative appendix) gives examples of substitute labels. 5.2 Dimensions and shapes 5.2.1 Front label Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on 1997-D5-28 and implemented on 1997-12-01 CB 16804:-1997 The shape of the front label is a rhombus. Its dimensions and shape are shown in Table 1 and Figure 1. Table 1 Dimensions of front label Outer weight of gas cylinder 5.2.2 Bottom label The dimensions of the bottom label should be determined according to the number and size of the front labels and the number of characters on the bottom label. The maximum length dimension can be selected according to the multiple of the side length of the front label according to the requirements. 5a, 6z or 7a The basic shape of the bottom label is shown in Figure 1, and it can also be made into a rectangle or a curved rectangle. b) Arrangement of a primary hazard warning label and a secondary hazard warning label on the bottom label Maximum overlap Used to change the difference in the appearance of the primary hazard warning label b) Arrangement of a primary hazard warning label and a secondary hazard warning label on the bottom label Figure 1 Arrangement of primary hazard warning labels and secondary hazard warning labels on the bottom label Used to change the difference in the appearance of the primary hazard warning label GB 16804-1997 0. The size of the words and symbols should be such that they can be easily identified and recognized on the front label. The symbols on the front are black and the words are in black print. However, for corrosive gases, the wording "Corrosive" should be printed in white on the black background of the front label. There is a black margin line drawn inside the edge and .05 from the edge. on each face core 5.5.2 The size of the words on the bottom label should be such that they can be easily identified and recognized on the bottom label. The words are black. The bottom label should contain at least the following information: a) For single gases, the chemical name and molecular formula should be provided; b) For mixed gases, the guide 1. The chemical name and molecular formula of the main component that may cause a dangerous gas. If the chemical name or molecular formula of the main component has been marked elsewhere on the gas cylinder, the generic term or trade name may be printed on the bottom label only; 2. Other instructions and warnings that should be followed in the transportation, storage and use of gas cylinders and the gases contained in the cylinders: 3. The name, address, postal code and telephone number of the gas cylinder filling unit. 431 Permanent or liquefied gas, non-flammable, non-sensitive oxidizing Gh 16804--1997 Table 2 Warning label for hazardous items of bottled gas Hazardous characteristics Warning label Hazard statement Combustible gas Oxidant Toxic gas Corrosive gas Half color The lower half of the label is black The symbol is in the middle of the label, and the hazardous Description text is in the lower half of the label Combustible gas Oxidant Toxic gas Corrosive gas 6 Application of warning labelsWww.bzxZ.net GH168041997 6.1 Pasting of labels The replacement must be performed by the gas cylinder filling unit. Each gas cylinder should be labeled when it is filled for the first time. If the label is found to be detached, torn, stained, or the writing is unclear, the filling unit should promptly add or replace the label. 6.2 The label should be firmly affixed to the gas cylinder and should not be covered by any parts or other labels on the gas cylinder. The label should not be folded, and the front label and the bottom label cannot be affixed separately. For gas cylinders used in clusters and small gas cylinders transported in wooden boxes, in addition to affixing labels to the gas cylinders in accordance with the above provisions, the label should also be affixed to the outside of the packaging box in a similar manner or affixed to a board with a certain strength, and then the board should be securely fastened to the box. The label should remain intact and clearly visible throughout the entire service life of the gas cylinder. 6.3 The label should be affixed to the bottle shoulder first, but no double stamp mark should be used.
