Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China 1 Subject Content and Applicable Scope Inspection Hammer QB/F 1290.5-1991 This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of inspection hammers. This standard applies to inspection hammers used for the inspection of railway and mining locomotives and equipment. 2 Reference Standards GB/T5305 Packaging, marking, transportation and storage of hand tools GB/T13473 General Technical Conditions for Steel Hammers 3 Product Classification 3.1 Type The types of inspection hammers are divided into type A and type B according to the shape of the hammer body, as shown in Figures 1 and 2. Example: The rust mark of 0.25kg Type A inspection hammer is: Inspection hammer 0.25AQB/T1290.5 4 Technical requirements 4.1 Heat treatment requirements The heat treatment requirements of the hammer body of the inspection hammer shall comply with the following provisions. 4.1.1 The heat treatment hardness of both ends of the hammer body is HRC 46~52. 4.1.2 The heat treatment length of the hammer body tip of the Type A inspection hammer shall not be less than 15mm. 4.2 Surface treatmentwwW.bzxz.Net The surface treatment of the inspection hammer shall comply with the following provisions. 4.2.1 The surface of the hammer body of the inspection hammer can be painted or chrome-plated. 4.2.2 The plating of the chrome-plated hammer body should be evenly coated, without missing plating, peeling, etc. 4.3 Other requirements Other requirements for the inspection chain shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 4 of GB/T 13473. ±0.75 Hammer hole number Hammer hole number Test method QB/T1290.5~—1991 The test method for rust inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB/T13473. 6 Inspection rules The inspection rules for inspection hammers shall be in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 6 of GB/T 13473. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage The marking, packaging, transportation and storage of inspection hammers shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T5305.
