All bank magnetic stripe cards must use track 2. Whether tracks 1 and 3 are available is determined by each card issuer, and whether the PIN verification code (PVN) is used and where it is stored is determined by each card issuer. When processing, the financial terminal must read and send the information of tracks 2 and 3 at the same time. Track 2 is used as the exchange track, and each card issuer shall use track 2 as the standard when performing identification and information exchange. KANiKca
The calculation steps are as follows:
Appendix A
(Informative Appendix)
Algorithm of Card Verification Code (CVN)
Two 64-bit verification keys, KeyA and KeyH, are used when calculating CVN. 1) The data sources for calculating CVV include the primary account number (PAN), card expiration date and service code, which are arranged in order from left to right. For example, 19-digit PAN, 4-digit card expiration date and 3-digit service code form 26 CVN data sources. 2) Expand the above data sources into 128-bit binary data (if less than 128 bits, add binary 0 on the right). GB/T 19584—2004
3) Divide the 128-bit binary data into two 64-bit data blocks. The leftmost 64 bits are Block1 and the rightmost 64 bits are Block2.
1) Encrypt Block1 with KeyA, 5) XOR the encrypted result of Block1 with Block2. Encrypt the XOR result with KeyA, 6) Decrypt the encrypted result with KeyB. 7) Encrypt the decrypted result with KeyA. 8) Extract the numbers (09) from the encrypted result from left to right to form a set of mathematical numbers. 9) Extract the characters (A to F) from the encrypted result from left to right, subtract 10 and make the remainder a set of numbers, and arrange them after the numbers in step 8).
10) The first three-digit group on the left of step 9) is the CVN value. Example:
Main account:41234567:89012345
Validity period:8701
Service code:J11
KeyA:0123 4567 89AB CDEF
KeyB:FEIBA987654321)
First step, the data source is 41234567890123458701111Second step: Expand to 41234567890123458701111000000000Step =; Block1=412345678901
Block2=8701 1110 0000
Step 4:
Encrypt Block1 with KeyA
Step 5:
Step 6:
Step 7:
Step 8;
Step 9:
Step 10
XOR the result with Block2,
Encrypt with KeyA,
Decrypt with KeyB,
Encrypt with KeyA:
Extract the numbers in the result,
Extract the characters in the result,
After hiding 10,
The result is: B76A

The result is: 306B
The result is: BAE6
The result is: B262
The result is: 8D56

The result is: 85625780110
The result is: DFAAC
The result is: 35002
