GE/T18804·2002
In order to improve the efficiency of international trade, the United Nations supports and improves the work of commercial, financial and administrative agencies in developed countries, developing countries and countries in transition through its Center for the Simplification of Procedures and Routines in Administration, Commerce and Transport (UN/CEFACT). Its principle is to promote the development of international trade through the simplification and coordination of procedures and information flows. With the internationalization trend of the production of parts, assembly of products and sales of enterprises, a global market is being established rapidly. The trend of conducting business transactions electronically is leading to smaller and smaller actual flow batches and shorter freight rates. The volume of logistics is increasing. The globalization of the market requires more effective and applicable information, and the solution to obtain effective information across international markets depends most on these foundations! Common sequences and common processing methods using established global standards. This method has the ability to accurately identify text data and a public coding system to represent specific data items. In order to effectively exchange information on trade and transportation, it is necessary to identify the type of transport vehicle. This standard provides a coding system that will simplify the public identification of the type of transport vehicle between the parties involved in the exchange of information. Users of this standard are encouraged to use this standard together with other published national standards and UN/ECE recommended standards. These standards include: GB/T 6512--1998

1 Scope
Transport Type Code
This standard specifies the transport type code. This standard is applicable to situations where the code is used to indicate the type of transport tool. ? Normative References

For any dated referenced document, all subsequent amendments (excluding errors) or revisions are not applicable to this standard. 3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard: 3.1
goods
All items received from the consignor. 3.2
means of transport means transport
Specific aircraft, vehicle, ship or other means used to transport goods or people. 3.3
mode of transport mode of transport
The mode used for the transport of goods.
Procedure
The steps to be taken in order to comply with the requirements of the following procedures. It includes the time, mode and mode of transport, etc. 4. Transport Type Code Table Structure and Representation Transport.1. The Type Code Table (see Table 1) consists of the following 4 parts: a) Transport Mode Code
The code used is defined in GB/T 612, see Table A.1 in Appendix A b) Transport 1. Type Code
The Transport 1. Type Code is a 3-character alphanumeric mathematical code consisting of Arabic numerals 0 to 9 and capital letters A to 2. In some cases, the code value itself can be structured, with the preceding characters indicating a general description and the subsequent character codes indicating a specific description of the subordinate type or subtype. For example, the code value "50\" for ocean transport represents "general cargo ship", while "501\ is a subordinate code representing "grain transport ship".
For ease of reference, the code value is expressed in two parts (such as: 51). When used, the code value should be a single value without embedded space characters (such as: "501\).
