This standard specifies the requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the environmental conditions of organic tea production areas. This standard applies to organic tea production areas.

3 Requirements
3.1 Basic Requirements
3.1.1 The organic tea production area should have good water quality, high biodiversity index, far away from pollution sources and strong sustainable production capacity. The distance between the organic tea garden and the traffic artery should be more than 1000m. 3.1.2 There should be a clear boundary and isolation zone between the organic tea garden and the conventional agricultural production area to ensure that the organic tea garden is not polluted. The isolation zone should be a natural barrier such as mountains and natural vegetation, or it can be artificially created forests and crops. Crops should be cultivated according to organic agricultural production methods.
3.2 Air

5.1 The evaluation of each index of air, soil and irrigation water in the organic tea production area adopts the single pollution index method. If one of them fails, the production area does not meet the environmental conditions of organic tea production area.
5.2 The data revision of the test results shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T8170. 417
