This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1.1-2009. This standard was revised using the redrafting method and adopted the Guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability - French bean (Phoseulus vutgurisL) of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV) TG/12/9.
This standard corresponds to the UPOV Guidelines TG/12/9 and is not equivalent to IG/12/9. There are technical differences between this standard and the UPOV Guidelines TG/12/9. The main differences are as follows: 1. Added "white seed coat varieties: immature grain color (early stage of fluorescent swelling)", "beauty: texture type", "sunflower: stripe color intensity", "seed coat: stripe shape", "seed: navel ring color" 5 Individual traits; · Deleted three botanical traits, namely "thickness", "seed length" and "seed coat: secondary color spot density" and four traits, namely "resistance to bean charcoal blight", "resistance to bean common mosaic virus", "resistance to bean bacterial leaf spot" and "resistance to bean bacterial blight"; · Adjusted the expression status of five traits, namely "leaf, degree of green", "leaf, degree of concavity and convexity of leaf surface", "shape of terminal brook", "stripe color" and "curvature of beak".
This standard was proposed by the Science, Technology and Education Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Testing and Standardization of New Plant Varieties (SAC/TC277). Drafting units of this standard: Vegetable and Flower Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Vegetable and Flower Research Institute of Gulin Province, Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. 5 Requirements for propagation materials
5.1 Propagation materials are provided in the form of seeds.
5.2 The number of seeds submitted shall be at least 20,000 seeds. 5.3 The submitted propagation materials shall be healthy in appearance, high in vitality, and free from pests and diseases. The specific quality requirements for propagation materials are as follows: purity 299.0%, germination rate 290%, moisture ≤12%. 5.4 The submitted propagation materials are generally not subjected to any treatment that affects the normal expression of variety traits (such as seed coating treatment). If they have been treated, detailed descriptions of the treatment should be provided.
5.5 The submitted propagation materials shall comply with the relevant provisions of China's plant quarantine. 6 Test methods
6.1 Test cycle
The test cycle is at least 2 independent growth cycles. 6.2 Test location
The test is usually carried out at one location. If some traits cannot be fully expressed at this location, they can be observed at other qualified locations.
6.3 Field test
6.3.1 Test design
The medium variety and similar varieties are planted adjacent to each other. Sow 2 to 3 seeds in a hole, and leave 1 seedling in each hole. Use appropriate plant spacing. At least 150 plants of dwarf beans and at least 60 plants of dwarf beans, divided into 2 replicates.
6. 3. 2 Field management
The management measures of the test field are basically the same as those of the bean production field. The field fertilization of the medium variety, similar varieties and standard varieties should be strictly consistent.
6.4 Observation of traits
6.4.1 Observation period
Observation of traits shall be carried out according to the growth stages listed in Table A.1 and Table A.2. The description of growth stages is shown in Table B.1.6.4.2 Observation method
Observation of traits shall be carried out according to the observation methods (VG, VS, MG, MS) specified in A.1 and Table A.2. 6.4.3 Number of observations
Unless otherwise specified, the number of samples for individual trait observation (VS, MS) shall not be less than 20. When observing the organs or parts of plants, the number of samples for each plant shall be 1. For group observation of traits (VG, MG), the whole plot or a mixed sample of a specified size shall be observed.5 Additional tests
When necessary, additional tests may be performed using the traits listed in Table A, 2 or traits not listed in this document. 7 Determination of specificity, consistency and stability results 7.1 General principles
Specificity, consistency and stability shall be determined in accordance with the requirements of GB/T19557.1 7.2 Determination of specificity
NY/T 2427—2013
The applied variety shall be clearly distinguished from all known varieties. In the test, when the applied variety has a significant and reproducible difference from similar varieties in at least one trait, the applied variety can be determined to have specificity. 7.3 Determination of consistency
The determination of consistency adopts a population standard of 1% and a probability of acceptance of at least 95%. When the sample size is 60 strains, a maximum of 2 atypical strains are allowed; when the sample size is 150 strains, a maximum of 4 atypical strains are allowed. 7.4 Determination of stability
If a variety has consistency, it can be considered to have stability. Generally, stability is not tested. If necessary, the next generation of the variety can be planted. If there is no obvious change in the expression of the trait compared with the previously supplied propagation material, the variety can be determined to be stable.
8 Trait table
According to the test needs, the traits are divided into basic traits and selected traits. Basic traits are traits that must be used in the test. The basic traits of beans are shown in Table A.1, and the selected traits are shown in Table A.2. 8.1 Overview
The trait table lists the trait name, expression type, expression state and corresponding code and standard variety, observation period and method, etc. 8.2 Expression type:
According to the trait expression method, the traits are divided into three types: quality traits, pseudo-quality traits and quantitative traits. 8.3 Expression states and corresponding codes
8.3.1 Each trait is divided into a series of expression states to facilitate the definition of traits and standardized descriptions; each expression state is assigned a corresponding digital code to facilitate data recording, processing and the establishment and communication of variety descriptions. 8.3.2 For quality traits and pseudo-quality traits, all expression states should be listed in the test guide; for number traits, in order to shorten the length of the trait table, the expression states of the number codes may not be listed, and the expression states of the even codes may be described in the form of the previous expression state to the next expression state.
8.4 Standard varieties
The trait table lists the standard varieties that can be used as reference for the expression states of some traits to help determine the different expression states of the relevant traits and correct for differences in environmental factors.
9 Grouped traits
In this document, the variety grouping traits are as follows: a) * Plant: Growth type (Character 3 in Table A.1). b) * Flower: Petal color (Character 17 in Table A.1). c) * Flower: Base color (Character 22 in Table A.1). d) * Flower: Cross-section shape (Character 34 in Table A.1). c): Texture type (Table A.1 Neutral trait 35) f) Seed coat: Number of colors (Table A.1 Neutral trait 42). g) * Seed coat: Primary color (Table A.1 Neutral trait 43). 10 Technical Questionnaire

For creeping varieties, the upper end of the main stem creeps and begins to twine. About 50% of the plants have at least one flower in bloom
At full bloom, all plants have bloomed
Middle stage of pod elongation and swelling (pod length and width are about 1/2 of the maximum value) The pod fully elongates and swells and reaches the maximum length and width (fruit green maturity stage) The pod physiologically matures and dries
Seeds are dried and harvested
