Some standard content:

National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Method for representing cast iron grades
Code for representing cast iron grades
1.1 Codes for various cast irons
UDC 621.741.2
1.3: 00*, pulse 2
GB 5612-05
The code for a particular cast iron is composed of the first capital letter of the Chinese phonetic character representing the characteristics of the cast iron. When the code letters of two cast iron names are the same, lowercase letters can be added after the capital letter to distinguish them. When the same name iron needs to be subdivided, the first capital letter of the Chinese phonetic character representing the subdivision characteristics is taken and arranged at the back. The code is shown in Appendix A (Supplement). 1.2 Element symbols, nominal content and mechanical properties The symbols of alloying elements are represented by international chemical element symbols, and the symbols of mixed rare earth elements are represented by "R". Content and mechanical properties are represented by Arabic numerals.
1.2.1 In the grade, the conventional carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus elements are generally not marked. When they have special functions, their element symbols and content are marked.
1.2.2 When the alloying element content is greater than or equal to 1%, it is expressed as an integer. When it is less than 1%, it is generally not marked. It is only marked when it has a significant impact on the characteristics of the alloy. 1.2.3 Alloying elements are arranged in descending order of their content. When the content is equal, they are arranged in alphabetical order of the element symbols. 1.2.4 The rounding rules for the content in the grade shall be in accordance with Appendix C of GB 1.1-81 "General Provisions for the Preparation of Standards in Standardization Work Guidelines". 1.2.5 The group of numbers after the code in the grade indicates the tensile strength value. When there are two groups of numbers, the first group indicates the tensile strength value and the second group indicates the elongation value. The two groups of numbers are separated by "". 1.2.6 When the symbol and content of the element are marked in the grade and the tensile strength is also marked, the tensile strength value is placed after the element symbol and content, separated by "-".
