Promote the sale and use of pesticides through print and electronic media, signs, displays, gifts, demonstrations or word of mouth. 2.2 Label
Pesticide label
Any information on or attached to a pesticide container that describes the contents of the pesticide in words, graphics, or symbols. 2. 2. 2. 2
Signal band for class of pesticides A non-fading band that runs parallel to the bottom edge of the pesticide label is used to distinguish different types of pesticides, among which herbicides are green, herbicides are red (excluding cattle insecticides), fungicides are black, plant growth regulators are dark yellow, and rodenticides are blue. 2.2.3
Signal for class of pesticides Toxicity Graphics or words used to identify the pesticide toxicity level. 2.2.4
Pictogram
Symbols or graphics that are used to express and convey information about the safe use of pesticides in a non-textual manner. 2.2.5
Shelf life
The period during which the quality of pesticide products is guaranteed under the specified storage conditions. During this period, the product's appearance, active ingredient content and other technical indicators should meet the requirements of the corresponding standards. 3 Packaging, storage, transportation and sales
Pesticide packaging
Containers and protective outer packaging used to sell pesticide products to users through wholesale or retail. 3.1.1
Pesticide packaging container Pesticide packaging is any form of packaging used to sell and use pesticide products in this unit. 3.2
NY/T 1667. 7.--2008
Guidelines for pesticide storage Basic requirements and methods for pesticide storage formulated to ensure the quality and safety of pesticides during storage and avoid unnecessary risks and losses:
Marketing
The entire process of product promotion, including advertising, public relations services and information services for products, as well as supply and sale in the domestic or international market.
Supply and marketing distribution
The process of supplying pesticides to the market through trade channels. 3.5
Illegal income
The income from illegal production and operation of pesticide sales. 4 Import and export of pesticides
Import and export
Transfer of chemicals from one Party to another, excluding pure transit transport 4.2
Prior informed consent procedureprinr informed consent,FC Toxic chemicals prohibited or severely restricted to protect human health or the environment shall not be shipped internationally without the consent of the designated national authority of the importing country:
Party trcaly power
States or regional economic integration organizations that have agreed to be bound by the Convention and for which the Convention is in force. 5 Pesticide waste
Pesticide waste obsoletepesticide
Waste gas, waste water and waste residue generated during the production of pesticides, waste packaging generated during the use of pesticides, and expired or banned pesticides during the purchase, transportation or renewal process.
Disposal of obsoletepesticidleAny process for the recovery, neutralization, destruction and isolation of pesticide waste, used containers and pollutants. 5.3
Expired and scrapped pesticides Pesticide products that have exceeded the product quality assurance period and have no use effect. 5.4
Weathering
The general term for the phenomenon that the used pesticides are lost, disappeared or decomposed due to the influence of environmental factors such as wind, rain, light and heat. 6 Market supervision
Product tracking
The ability of a specific part of a product to be tracked when it is passed through different institutions in the supply chain. Product tracking
NY/T 1667. 7—2008
The ability to determine the source of a specific individual or batch of products in the supply chain based on the records of the previous supply chain. The feedback includes product feedback and consumer complaint investigation
Fake pesticide
Pesticides that are not pesticides or that are other than pesticides; the types and names of the active ingredients contained do not match the types and names of the active ingredients of the pesticides indicated on the product label or instructions. 6.4
Inferior quality pesticide Pesticides that do not meet the quality standards of pesticide products, have lost their effectiveness, or are mixed with harmful ingredients that cause pesticide damage. 6.5
Expired pesticides
Pesticide products that have exceeded the product quality assurance period: 6.6
Annexed pesticides
Pesticides whose uses are also banned by the final regulatory action. Synonyms: banned pesticide, restricted pesticide restricted pesticide Almost all uses are banned by the final regulatory action of the government, but some specific uses are still allowed to protect human health or the environment. Severetyhazaurdous pesticide Furmuation Pesticide used as a pesticide, which can cause serious effects on health or the environment in a short period of time after one or more exposures under the conditions of use. 6.9 Hazardous chemicals Chemicals Chemical Compounds composed of chemical elements and mixtures thereof, including natural or artificial ones. 6.9.2
Banned chemicals
Chemicals that have been banned by final regulatory action for the purpose of protecting human health or the environment in all uses in one or more categories: chemicals that have not been approved for first use, or have been withdrawn from the domestic market by the industry or withdrawn from consideration for further cooperation in the domestic approval process, and there is clear evidence that such action is taken to protect human health or the environment. 6.9.3
Severely restricterl chemical A chemical that has been banned from almost all uses in one or more categories by final regulatory actions to protect human health or the environment, but some of its specific uses are still approved. It includes chemicals that have not been approved for almost all uses or have been withdrawn from the domestic market by the industry or withdrawn from further review in the domestic approval process, and there is clear evidence that such action is taken to protect human health or the environment.
dangerous chemical
chemicals that are explosive, flammable, toxic, corrosive, radioactive, etc., and are likely to cause personal injury, property damage or environmental pollution. 6.9.4.1
Dangerous goods
Hazardous goods
Material and articles that are explosive, flammable, toxic, infectious, corrosive, radioactive, etc. and that may cause personal injury, property damage or environmental pollution during transportation, storage, production, operation, use and handling and that require special protection. 6.9.4.2
Explosive substances: solid or liquid substances (or mixtures of these substances) that can produce gases through chemical reactions, the temperature, pressure and speed of which are high enough to cause damage to the surrounding environment, including pyrotechnic substances that do not emit gases. 6.9.4.3
pyrotechnicsubstanceA substance or mixture of substances which produces heat, light, fire, gas or smoke or a combination of these effects, produced by a self-sustaining exothermic chemical reaction which does not detonate6.9.4.4
explosivearticle
Articles containing explosive substances. 6.9.4.5
self-reactivesubstance
sell-rcactivesuhstanceThermally unstable substances which are liable to undergo a violent exothermic decomposition even in the absence of oxygen (normal gases). 6.9.4.6
pyrotechnicsubstanceSubstances, including mixtures and solutions (liquids and solids), which, even if ignited by a small amount, will burn within 5 minutes of contact with air. 6.9.4.7
