This standard applies to the classification, coding and information exchange of the above-mentioned commonly used bulk materials. Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document Linear classification method Method of linear classification The classification object is divided into several levels according to several selected attributes (or characteristics), and each level is divided into several categories. The categories of the same level in the same branch form a parallel relationship, and the categories of different levels form a subordinate relationship. [GB/T10113-2003, definition 2.1.5] 3 Classification principles and methods 3.1 Classification principles 3.1.1 The scope covered by the categories of the same level does not overlap or repeat each other 3.1.2 According to the selected attributes of the material, it is divided into several corresponding categories with a hierarchical relationship, and a gradually expanded classification system is formed. For example, steel can be classified according to shape, material, and specification, and then expanded layer by layer. 3.1.3 The category name should be selected according to the material name that conforms to national standards or is generally recognized by the industry, such as the standard name of rebar is hot-rolled ribbed steel bar. 3.1.4 Evenly distribute the granularity of the classification system, and materials of the same category are at similar granularity. 3.2 Classification method Bulk materials for highway and bridge construction refer to materials commonly used in highway and bridge construction that need to be purchased and used in large quantities, such as steel, cement, asphalt, fuels and lubricants, etc. Their classification adopts the line classification method, mainly based on the raw materials, production process, existing form, functional use and attention of materials. 4 Coding principles and methods 4.1 Coding principles 4.1.1 Uniqueness Each material corresponds to only one code. Even if a certain material is no longer used, its code will be permanently preserved as a unique classification code. 4.1.2 Scalability There is enough expansion space, and the classification can be expanded according to actual conditions. 1 iiKAoNiKAca GB/T35425—2017 4.1.3 Stability Once the material code is assigned, it will remain unchanged as long as the basic properties of the material have not changed. 4.2 Coding method 4.2.1 The classification code of bulk materials adopts full digital hierarchical coding. The lower-level class code should inherit the upper-level class code to intuitively reflect the subordinate relationship between the lower-level class and the upper-level class; the same-level classes form a parallel relationship and are encoded with sequential codes. 4.2.2 A four-layer 7-digit full digital code is adopted, the first layer is represented by one Arabic numeral, and the second, third, and fourth layers are represented by two Arabic numerals. 4.2.3 Each level of code is arranged in ascending order, starting from "1\" and arranged in ascending order. The second, third and fourth levels are coded up to "99". 4.2.4 The code with the number "99" in the second, third and fourth levels all represent the accommodation category, that is, the materials that cannot be classified into the series category are all included in this category. 4.2.5 When there is a shortage of digits, 0 is used to fill the digits. Classification coding structure The bulk materials used for highway and bridge construction adopt a four-layer 7-digit classification coding structure, as shown in Figure 1. X represents the major category, X, X, represent the medium category, XX represents the minor category, and X.X, represents a sub-category.
