Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the quality grade of air medium for pneumatic components and systems. This standard is applicable to the classification of quality grades of air medium for pneumatic components and systems. 2 Terminology
2.1 Contaminants
JB/T5967-1991
Any solid, liquid, gaseous substance or its combination that has an adverse effect on pneumatic components, pneumatic systems or operators. 2.2 Solid particles
Suspension of solid particles or liquid droplets suspended in a gas medium or solid and liquid particles with a very small falling speed (falling speed is usually less than 0.25m/s).
2.3 Dew point
Temperature at which water vapor begins to condense.
2.3.1 Pressure dew point
Dew point of compressed air under actual pressure (pressure value should be specified). 2.3.2 Atmospheric dew point
Dew point measured under atmospheric pressure.
2.4 Relative vapor pressure
Ratio of water vapor partial pressure to saturation pressure at the same temperature. Expression method
Air medium quality grade is expressed by three Arabic numerals. If there is no requirement for a certain pollutant, "two" is used instead. Oil content level (see Table 3)
Water vapor content level (see Table 2)
Solid particle content level (see Table 1)
Example:
a, when the solid particle content in the air medium is level 2, the water vapor content is level 3, and the oil content is level 4, it means that the air medium quality level is 2, 3, and 4.
b, when the solid particle content in the air medium is level 3, there is no requirement for water vapor content, and the oil content is level 5, it means that the air medium quality level is 3, 1, and 5.

3.2 Quality level
3.2.1 Solid particles
The solid particle content level shall be as specified in Table 1.

The water vapor content in compressed air is expressed as pressure dew point. When a lower pressure dew point is required, it must be specially indicated. The level of pressure dew point is specified in Table 2.
