This standard applies to recyclable packaging containers or packaging components such as paper, plastic, aluminum and iron.
This standard replaces GB18455-2001 "Packaging Recycling Mark".
Compared with GB18455-2001, the main changes of this standard are as follows:

———The terms and definitions in Chapter 3 are revised;
———The "reusable", "containing recycled materials" and "green dot" marks in Chapter 4 are deleted, and the marks of "paper", "aluminum" and "iron" are added;
———The abbreviation of plastic "HDPE" is changed to "PE-HD", and "LDPE" is changed to "PE-LD".
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Packaging Standardization (SAC/TC49).
This standard is drafted by the China Export Commodity Packaging Research Institute, and the Circular Economy Committee of the China Packaging Federation participated in the drafting.

"Iron\" can be marked below the mark. General plastic packaging recycling marks shall be marked in accordance with Appendix A of GB/T16288--2008. Table 2 gives the plastic codes and abbreviations commonly used in packaging. Figure 1 gives a marking example. Its recycling mark is shown in Figure 2. The code \00\ in the biodegradable plastic mark means "biodegradable". The abbreviation ×××× is shown in GB/T1844.1. When it is necessary to express the biodegradable technical conditions of the material, a brief text description can be marked below or on the left and right sides of the mark. 00 2 Example of marking the recycling mark of biodegradable plastic packaging 4.3 Packaging recycling mark for composite packaging materials Packaging recycling mark for composite packaging materials The main material of the packaging recycling mark is marked according to Table 1. The main material refers to the material with the highest effective calorific value in energy recovery. When the main material is plastic, it shall be marked according to 4.2 5 Requirements 5.1 Suppliers shall pre-evaluate the packaging containers or packages put on the market according to GB/T16716.1, GB/T16716.2 and their referenced standards. 2||t t||http foodmate.net NTEATEIT GB/T18455—2010 Whether the packaging components can be recycled, when it is determined that recycling is feasible, the packaging recycling mark should be marked. 5.2 When the packaging is composed of multiple packaging components, the packaging recycling mark should be marked on each recyclable packaging component.
