Mechanical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Electrical Installation Rail JB6525-92 This standard is equivalent to the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC Standard 715 (1981 Edition) "Dimensions of low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Standard mounting rails for mechanical support of electrical appliances in complete switchgear and controlgear". 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the relevant dimensional requirements for the correct design of electrical installation rails (hereinafter referred to as installation rails or rails) and the electrical appliances fixed on the installation rails. This standard applies to three types of mounting rails with cross-sections used to fix different electrical components in low-voltage switchgear and control equipment with the help of accessories or elastic structural parts: "TH" hat-type mounting rail; "G\-type mounting rail; "C"-type mounting rail. This standard also applies to the relevant parts of electrical appliances fixed on the above three types of mounting rails. Note: ① In order to meet the needs of various fixing methods for electrical installation, mounting rails with mixed cross-sections (such as a combination of two standard cross-section sizes of TH and C) can be used. ② When designing the enclosure of electrical equipment When the mounting rail is installed, a mounting rail with a standard cross-section size can be used as a component of the housing. 2 Reference standards GB1182 3 Terms Shape and position tolerance codes and their annotations Electrical mounting railsMounting rails for electrical apparatusTo facilitate the rapid installation and removal of electrical components and any combination, the rails of the electrical apparatus are fixed by means of accessories (such as sliding nuts, hook-shaped or T-shaped bolts, etc.) or by directly buckling elastic structural parts or other methods. 4 Functional requirements The basic function of the mounting rail is to support electrical equipment, so it should have Sufficient mechanical strength and rigidity to ensure that it can withstand the static and dynamic loads of electrical equipment. Because the fixing method of the mounting rail may affect the performance of the electrical appliance, the assembler should pay attention to the reasonable selection of the structural type and material of the mounting rail to ensure the correct operation of the electrical appliance. Appendix C provides a method for estimating the actual load torque of the mounting rail and its allowable load characteristics for reference when selecting. 5 Dimension requirements Figures 1 to 7 show the relevant dimensional requirements for correctly designed mounting rails and electrical appliances fixed on the mounting rails. They are applicable to steel rails, aluminum rails or rails made of other materials. The unit of size is millimeter. The maximum effective space in Figures 1 and 2 is shown as follows: In the figure, the hatched area represents the maximum effective space of the TH-type mounting rail, the rail's supporting structure and its fixing device. In the maximum effective space schematic diagrams of Figures 3 and 4 to 7, the hatched area represents the maximum effective space of the G-type mounting rail and the C-type mounting rail and their supporting structures, but does not include the rail's fixing device. The remaining parts in the above figures all represent the maximum effective space of the electrical appliances fixed on the mounting rail. JB6525-92 In the enlarged views of the mounting rail edges in Figures 1 to 7, the manufacturing tolerances are included , within the given tolerances, TH-type mounting rails and C-type mounting rails are symmetrical. The angle tolerances shown are one-sided and have values between zero and the values shown. They include design tolerances. 5.1TH-type mounting rail Reference plane (a) Schematic diagram of maximum effective space Reference plane (b) Enlarged view of edge Figure 1TH35-type (35mm wide) mounting rail Reference plane (a) Schematic diagram of maximum effective space Reference plane (b) Enlarged view of edge Figure 2TH75-type (75mm wide) mounting rail||tt ||G-type mounting rail 5.3C-type mounting rail Reference surface (a) Schematic diagram of maximum effective space JB6525- 1.5±0.05 Reference surface 1.5±0.05 (b) Magnified edge image G32-type (32mm width) mounting rail Reference surface 0.6×45° (a) Schematic diagram of maximum effective space Reference surface 3°max (b) Magnified edge image Figure 4C2 0-type (20mm wide) mounting rail reference surface JB652592 (a) Schematic diagram of the maximum effective space reference surface 3°max (b) Enlarged view of the edge Figure 5C30-type (30mm wide) mounting rail reference surface (a) Schematic diagram of the maximum effective space reference surface (b) Enlarged view of the edge Figure 6C40-type (40mm wide) mounting rail reference surface JB6525-92 (a) The maximum Schematic diagram of large effective space Reference surface (b) Enlarged view of edge Figure 7C50 type (50mm width) mounting rail A1 Material properties JB6525-92 Appendix A Steel mounting rail (Supplement) Carbon structural steel cold-rolled steel plate is used as material, and after surface bright annealing, it is slightly flattened. The tensile strength is required to be 320 to 420N/mm; the elongation is at least 30%; 180° bending test is carried out along the rolling direction and perpendicular to the rolling direction, and there shall be no cracks, cracks and delamination at the bending. Only when the manufacturer and the user reach an agreement, can other steel plates be used as materials. A2 Dimensions and specifications This appendix lists the dimensions and tolerance requirements of several standard steel mounting rails. Manufacturers may mark the tolerances on the mounting rail drawings according to the relevant standards, but the tolerance values shall be within the tolerance range specified in this appendix. Other tolerance values are allowed only after the manufacturer and the user have agreed. Note: If the mounting rail has a cladding layer, the cladding dimensions shall comply with the tolerance provisions of this appendix, and the performance of the cladding layer shall comply with the provisions of the relevant standards. The "smooth edge" noted in the dimension drawing refers to the absence of burrs and sharp edges to ensure proper fit in actual use. A2.1TH steel mounting rail A2.1.1TH35 steel mounting rail There are two specifications: TH357.5 steel mounting rail (width 35mm, height 7.5mm) can be used to fix various small electrical appliances, wiring sockets and sockets.
