Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Nomenclature of polyoxymethylene molding materials Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the naming method of polyoxymethylene molding materials. This standard applies to the classification and naming of polyoxymethylene molding materials. HG 236292 Polyoxymethylene molding materials are classified and named according to their chemical composition, melt flow rate and filler or reinforcement material or additives and the mass basis of filler or reinforcement material. 2 Reference standards GB1844 Plastics and resins abbreviation code GB3682 Thermoplastic melt flow rate test method 3 Naming method The naming method of polyoxymethylene molding materials consists of abbreviation code and model. 3.1 Abbreviation code The abbreviation code of polyoxymethylene is represented by the English letters POM according to GB1844. 3.2 Model POM molding material model includes the following contents: Chemical composition Melt flow rate Type of filler or reinforcement material or additive Shape of filler or reinforcement material Mass fraction of filler or reinforcement material 3.2.1 Polyoxymethylene is divided into two categories according to its chemical composition: homopolymer and copolymer, which are represented by English letters: H--homopolymer C-copolymer 3.2.2 The melt flow rate is represented by a code, and its range is shown in Table 1. Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People’s Republic of China on October 7, 1992 and implemented on May 1, 1993 Melt flow rate, g/10min >2.00~4.00 >4. 00~7. 50 >7.50~10.5 >10. 5~14. 0 HG 2362—92 Melt flow rate, g/10min >14.0~18. 0 >18. 0~23. 0 >23. 0~32. 0 >32. 0~~50. 0 3.2.3 Types of fillers, reinforcing materials and additives are indicated by English letters. See Table 2 for details. When no filler, reinforcing material or additive is added, no code is added. When two or more fillers, reinforcing materials or additives are added, the main code is used to indicate it. Table 2 Carbon, graphite fiber Wear-resistant Flame retardant Type of filler, reinforcing material, additive Lubricant (polytetrafluoroethylene, graphite, silicone, molybdenum disulfide, etc.) Minerals, metals Organic synthetic materials UV stable Antistatic The shape of fillers and reinforcing materials is indicated by English letters, see Table 2 for details.
