ICS.47.020.50 Registration No.: 2435-1999 Ship Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China CB/T3294—1998 Marine carbon dioxide fire extinguishing plant1998-12-29 Issued 1999-06-01 Implementation CB/T3294—1998 Cited standards 3 Composition and type of device Component classification Technical requirements 6 Test methods 7 Inspection rules 8 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage Appendix A (suggestive appendix) CB/T32941998 This standard is based on the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, 1992 According to the amendments in 2000 and the latest technical requirements of major classification societies, CB'3294.1~1087 was revised and 10 sub-standards were merged into one. In order to maintain the original characteristics and take into account the inheritance and continuity of the standard, the parameters, specifications and dimensions of the revised marine carbon dioxide fire extinguishing device remain unchanged, and appropriate improvements, supplements and additions were made on the original basis. The main changes between this revision and the previous version are as follows: Improved system design, according to the use requirements, added CDE-2 system, and also made appropriate modifications to the original system, improved to CDE-1 system, making it safer, more reliable and practical. Added the structural dimension assembly series of 68L large-capacity gas cylinders and their corresponding supporting equipment. Supplemented a cylinder-type bottle head valve and its structural dimension assembly series. Improve the remote control release station. To make it safer and more reliable, low leakage safety valves are set for both CDE-1 and CDE-2 systems. To ensure the safe evacuation of workers from the fire area, a delay device is set to meet the requirement that the fire alarm should work for at least 20 seconds before the spraying of the fire extinguishing agent. To meet the requirements of the amendment to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, the control pipeline in the remote control release station is changed from one outlet to two outlets, that is, one of them controls the air control release valve and the other controls the fire extinguishing agent container. Add the specifications of the air control release valve with a diameter of DN25, 32, 40, 50, and 125mm, add the specifications of the B-type check valve with a diameter of DN6mm, and increase the number of nozzles and the specifications of the nozzle diameter of the engine room nozzle with 4-06, 4-a10, and 4-012mm. In order to meet the CCS specifications and system design requirements, a drainage air blocker is added. This standard replaces CB3294.1~10-87 from the date of implementation.
