Terms and definitions
Flammable solids
refer to substances that are easily ignited and can cause or promote ignition through friction. Flammable solids refer to substances that are dangerous and can be easily ignited and ignite quickly if they come into short contact with an ignition source (such as a lit match). 4. Classification || tt||4.1 When powdered, granular or mixed materials or mixtures are tested one or more times in accordance with the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Part III, Section 33.2, the burning point is less than 15 or the burning rate is greater than 2.2 mm, they are classified as flammable solids. 4.2 When weak or alloyed powders can be ignited and extend to the entire length of the sample in 10 minutes or less, they are classified as flammable bodies.
4,3 Before the point of the award (striking a match) is reached, the solid can be classified as flammable solids:
4.4 According to Table 1 of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, the test and standards are in the register, 2.! Classification of flammable solids: For materials or mixtures other than metal powders: a) the humid zone can block flames for at least 4 m and b) the burning time is less than 22 ms or the burning rate is greater than 22 ms, for metal powders, the burning time is not less than 10 m: Burning rate test: For materials or mixtures other than metal powders: a) the humid zone can block flames for at least 4 m and h) the burning time is less than 4 s or the burning rate is greater than 2.2 mm/s, the qualified final
burning area is greater than
or equal to
Method: For the classification test of fixed substances or mixtures, the test should be carried out according to the mixture provided. For example: if a chemical substance is submitted in a form different from the form in the test for the purpose of transport, and it is considered that the performance is actually the same as that in the classification test, then the substance must also be tested in the new form. 5 Decision process
The decision process for delisting is not part of the coordinated classification system, but is an additional indicator The guidance proposes that the personnel responsible for the classification of flammable phases should conduct a study before and during the use of the judgment process. The classification of flammable phases should be carried out according to the N.1 test method specified in Section 33.2.1 of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Tests and Criteria. The procedure consists of two tests: a screening test and a burning rate test. Classification is carried out according to the judgment process in Figure 1. Mass transfer of materials/wetted compounds
