Determination of Ioss in weight of montan waxUDC665.44

GB3815-83
This standard is applicable to the determination of the heating loss of montan wax. Key points of the method: Heat 5 grams of montan wax sample at 105±2℃, and measure its weight loss after 2h, expressed as weight percentage. 1 Instrument
1.1 Sample weigher: 50ml porcelain, height 45mm, upper outer diameter 52mm, lower bottom outer diameter 30mm052
1.2 Electric heating F drying oven: can maintain 100~110℃. 1.3 Analytical balance: sensitivity 0.0002g.
1.4 Desiccant.
2 Determination steps
2.1 Add 5±0.1g (weighed to 0.0002g) of montan wax sample crushed to less than 1mm into a pre-weighed crucible (weighed to 0.0002g). Gently shake and roll to make the wax sample surface flat. 2.2 Place the weighed crucible containing the wax sample near the upper mercury thermometer in an electric drying oven pre-heated to 105±2℃, with the bottom of the mercury ball about 10cm away from the upper plate (no more than 8 crucibles should be placed in the drying oven at one time, and all the upper and lower air holes of the electric drying oven should be open). Start timing when the temperature rises to 105±2℃, keep it at 105±2℃ for 2h, then take out the sample, cool it in a desiccator until it leaks (about 1h), and then weigh it (weighed to 0.0002g). 3 Calculation of results
3.1 The heating loss of the wax sample (Lw, expressed as weight percentage) is calculated according to the following formula: Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on August 3, 1983
Implemented on May 1, 1984
Wherein: G
GB3815-83
Weight of wax sample and snail before heating, g,
-Weight of wax sample and snail after heating, g;
G——Weight of crucible, g.
3.2 Take the arithmetic mean of the results of two parallel determinations as the determination result, and take the result to two decimal places. 4 Allowable difference
The difference between parallel determinations shall not exceed the following provisions: Allowable
Laboratory
