This standard specifies the naming method of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) molding materials: This naming method is based on the main purpose or processing method, important properties, additives or coloring, Vicat softening temperature and melt flow rate of PMMA molding materials.
This standard is applicable to methyl methacrylate homopolymers and methyl methacrylate copolymers. The mass content of methyl methacrylate in the copolymer is at least 80%, and the content of acrylate or other monomers does not exceed 20%. 2 Reference standards

Determination of Vicat softening temperature
The method specified in GB/T 1633 is used for determination. The test load is 9.800 10.0N and the heating rate is 5±0.5℃/6 min, 5.2 Determination of melt flow rate
The method specified in GB/T3682 is used for determination. The standard test conditions are specified in No. 13 in Table 1 of 5.2 and 5.1, that is, the test load is 37.24N and the test temperature is 230C. Before the test, the sample needs to be dried at 95±5C for 5h. Additional instructions:
