It is divided into the following five parts: · Part 1: Design Principles for Symbol Original Drawings:. Part 2: Form and use of arrows; Part 3: Application guidelines; Part 4: Redrawing guidelines for graphic symbols used as icons; Part 5: Design guidelines for icons. d) G3/T16903 "Rules for the representation of graphic symbols for signs - Design principles and requirements for public information graphic symbols". This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1.1-2009 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and compilation of standards". This standard replaces GB/T16903.1-2008 "Rules for the representation of graphic symbols for signs Part 1: Design principles for public information graphic symbols". Compared with (G13/T16903,12008), in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows: The design templates have been revised, including the graphic templates "human-shaped template" and the negative templates (see 6.1.1 and Figures 1, 6.2 and 6.3.2008 version 7.1, 7.2 and A.3); Added the provisions for designing graphic symbols using reference lines in graphic templates (see 6.1.2 and 6.1.3): - Added the design provisions for graphic symbols of main and auxiliary structures (see 7.3.4); - Changed the "method of representing "water" from informational to normative, and added the provisions on how to intercept and use water ripple lines (see 7.3.5 and Appendix A, 6.1.3 and Appendix B of the 2008 edition); - Added the provisions for line width and gap of graphic symbols designed in templates (see 7.6.1 and 7.6.3); Modified the "minimum line width size (see 7.6.2. 6.6.1 of the 2008 edition) and the minimum spacing size between symbol details (see 7.6.2. 2008 edition 6.6.2); - Modify the size of the minimum symbol element of the factory graphic derivative symbol (see 7.6.4.2008 edition 6.7); - Change the design of the human figure from informative to normative and modify the relevant content (see 7.7, 2008 edition 6.1.3 and Appendix A); - Modify the color provisions of the factory negation slash and negation cross (see 7.9.2008 edition 6.9); - Add the presentation form and design requirements of graphic symbols to form graphic signs (see Chapter 8 and Appendix 1). This standard was drafted with reference to IS022727:2007 "Creation and design requirements of graphic symbols for public information graphic symbols" and is consistent with ISO22727: 2007-The degree of consistency is non-equivalent: This standard was proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Graphic Symbols (SA/T59). rKaeerkca- GB/T16903—2021 The drafting units of this standard are: China National Institute of Standardization, Renmin University of China, China Earthquake Disaster Prevention Center, China Household Electrical Appliance Research Institute, The main drafters of this standard are: Bai Dianyi, Zhang Liang, An Yaoshun, Li Yishi, Yang Zuonian, Chen Yongquan, Zou Chuanyu. Assign meaning and function to graphic symbols and clarify the application site 5.1 A graphic symbol should only be used to convey a public message and belong to one of the following categories: a) General: Tourism and leisure: Passenger and freight transport; Sports and fitness; Shopping; Health care: Office and teaching: Behavioral instructions; Barrier-free facilities. The meaning of the graphic symbol should be given according to the function to be represented by the graphic symbol to be designed and its application site. The meaning should convey information accurately, concisely and conveniently. 5.3 After the design of graphic symbols is completed, the meaning and description of the graphic symbols should be given in words. The function and application place of the graphic symbols should be clearly stated in the description (see Figure 1): [Source: GB/F10001.3-2021(24. Car washing Meaning: car washing. Figure 5 Negative template 7 Graphic design General principles Graphic design of graphic symbols: Make the selection of symbol elements related to their intended meaning; Include symbol details that help understand the meaning of graphic symbols; Make the newly designed graphic symbols easy to distinguish from other graphic symbols: Design based on objects, actions or a combination of them that are easily recognizable to the public. Avoid using graphics related to popular styles as symbol elements; Keep the style of graphic symbols in the same field consistent: Make the overall length and width ratio of the graphic less than 3:1; Consider the impact of adding negative elements (negative slashes) on the comprehensibility of graphic symbols: It is composed of concrete forms. Use of characters Ningmu, numerals, punctuation marks, mathematical symbols and other symbols should only be used as symbol elements. If some letters or punctuation marks have been widely recognized, they can be used alone as graphic symbols, such as the letter "P" for parking and the punctuation mark "" for asking questions.6 -rrKaeerKAca- Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
