GB 17381-1998 Regulations on surface colors of visual aids to navigation in China's maritime areas
Some standard content:
GB 17381--1998
This standard is formulated in reference to the "Recommendations on the Surface Color of Visual Signals of Navigational Aids" adopted and issued by the International Association of Navigational Aids (IALA) in May 1980, and in combination with the actual situation of visual navigational aids in my country. This standard is used together with GB16161-1996 "Regulations on the Shape Display of Aids to Navigation in China's Sea Areas" and GB12708-91 "Colors of Light Signals of Navigational Aids", and comprehensively regulates the visual signals of navigational aids in my country's sea areas to make them play the most effective role in aiding navigation and ensure the safety of ships at sea.
The provisions on the composition and coloring method of the surface color of visual navigational aids in GB4696-84 "Aids to Navigation in China's Sea Areas" are valid in this standard.
The chromaticity range of surface colors specified in this standard is measured by the geometric figure of the standard illuminant D65 and the 45° normal (45/0). From the date of implementation of this standard, the surface color of newly produced visual navigation aids shall comply with the provisions of this standard; the implementation of visual navigation aids in use may be delayed by one year accordingly.
Appendix A of this standard is the appendix of the standard.
This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Safety Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China. This standard is drafted by the Institute of Standards and Metrology of the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China, the Safety Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China, the Shanghai Maritime Safety Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Communications of the Ministry of Communications, and the Shanghai Navigational Aids Factory of the Ministry of Communications of the Ministry of Communications. The main drafters of this standard are: Zhang Guowei, Hu Jiangshan, Dong Shujiang, Wang Weishi, Liu Yuyu, and Zhang Jian. The Safety Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China is responsible for interpreting this standard. 55

Regulations for surface colours of the visual aids to navigation in China
The regulation for surface colours of the visual aids to navigation in China
This standard specifies the composition, colouring method and colour range of the surface colours of the visual aids to navigation in China's sea areas. This standard applies to all visual aids to navigation in China's sea areas, its seaports and estuaries. The surface colours of inland visual aids to navigation may refer to this standard. 2 Referenced standards

3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions.
3.1 Surface color surfacecolour
The color of the surface of diffusely reflecting, opaque objects. (2.4 in GB5698-85) 3.2 Luminous reflectance p luminous reflectance ratio p luminous reflectance ratio of the luminous flux Φ reflected by the surface of an object to the luminous flux Φ incident on the surface of the object. (1.10 in GB5698-85) p
4 Surface color composition and coloring method
4.1 The composition and coloring method of the surface colors of various visual navigation aids shall comply with the provisions of GB4696. 4.2 The colors of the numbers of various visual navigation aids shall comply with the provisions of GB4696. 5 Surface color
The surface colors of visual navigation aids in China's sea areas (which are divided into ordinary surface colors, fluorescent colors and retroreflective colors) are red, green, yellow, black and white. The chromaticity range of various colors is determined by the boundaries between adjacent colors on the chromaticity diagram, see Figure Al in Appendix A (Standard Appendix).
5.7 The boundary equations, intersection coordinates and light reflectance of the chromaticity range of ordinary surface colors are shown in Table 1. Approved by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision on May 18, 1998, 56
