National Standard of the People's Republic of China Forged and rolled steel bars-Method forultrasonic examination 1 Subject content and scope of application GB/T 4162--91Www.bzxZ.net Generation GB4162--84 This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, test blocks, requirements for inspectors, inspection methods, inspection procedures, defect assessment, quality grades, and record and report of inspection results for ultrasonic inspection of forged and rolled steel bars. This standard is applicable to the inspection of forged and rolled steel bars with a diameter of 20 to 250 mm by ultrasonic pulse reflection method, and is also applicable to high-temperature alloy bars, but not to austenitic coarse-grained steel bars. 2 Reference standards General technical conditions for ZBY230A pulse reflection ultrasonic flaw detector GB 9445 General rules for technical qualification appraisal of non-destructive testing personnel 3 Comparison test blocks 3.1 The comparison test blocks shall be made of materials with the same or similar acoustic properties as the inspected parts. 3.2 The materials used to make the comparison test blocks shall be carefully checked in advance by ultrasonic testing methods under high sensitivity conditions, and no echoes that affect the use shall exist. 3.3 The surface state, geometric shape and specifications of the comparison test blocks and the inspected parts shall be the same. 3.4 The diameter of the equivalent flat-bottom hole of the comparison test block shall be consistent with the equivalent flat-bottom hole diameter specified in Table 1. 3.4.1 The burial depth of the equivalent flat-bottom hole of the comparison test block used to adjust the sensitivity during longitudinal wave testing shall be 1/4, 1/2, or 3/4 of the diameter D of the inspected steel bar. As shown in Figure 1. For steel bars over 80mm, a flat bottom hole with a burial depth of 7/8 of the bar diameter (D) shall be added. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on December 13, 1991 and implemented on October 1, 1992 GB/T 4162--91 Figure 1 Comparison test block (for longitudinal wave inspection) 3.4.2 During the longitudinal wave inspection, when the burial depth H of the equivalent flat bottom hole of the comparison test block used for evaluating defects is basically the same as the defect depth shown on the steel bar, the allowable error is: When H≤6mm, it is ±1.6mm 6mm Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
