National Standard of the People's Republic of China 1/6 Colour cards of standard depthsfor dyelng with dyestuffs UDC667.2(086.6) GB4841.5-85 This standard depth color card is formulated with reference to the depth variation of DIN54000 "1/6 auxiliary standard color card" recommended by the international standard ISO105/A-1978 "Textiles-Dyeing Degree Test-Part A: General Principles", and adds four hues of golden yellow, red, turquoise blue and brilliant green. This set of color cards is suitable for reference in dyeing half-degree and dyeing performance test of dyes and visual evaluation of dyeing depth of dyed samples. 1 Specifications and types 1.1 This standard depth color card consists of -1-- hue as 1/6 depth. 1.2 This standard depth color chart has two forms: the original preservation copy and the issued use copy. 1.2.1 The original preservation copy is 5cm×5cm in size and is archived for copying. 1.2.2 The issued use copy is 3.5cm×5cm in size and is for user use. 2 Materials for color chart preparation 2.1 Fabric This standard depth color chart uses SD2201 wool gabardine. 2.2 Dye: The wood standard depth color chart uses ten major commercial dyes [see Appendix A (Supplement)]. 3 Quality indicators 8.1 Appearance requirements: The surface of this standard depth color must be uniform, free of color spots, stains, weaving defects and obvious signs of adhesive penetration, and the fabric thickness should also be uniform. 3.2 The original preservation copy is tested by the spectrophotometer specified in GB3979-83 "Methods for measuring object color". Brightness, observation conditions> 0/d, wavelength interval is 10nm, the fabric texture on the surface of the color card is 60° with the x-axis of the measuring hole during the test, the test results are shown in Appendix B (supplement), which is the value of the standard lighting body D!, 10~ field of view. 4 Usage When using this standard depth color card, the dye sample and the color card with the closest hue in this standard depth color card are measured visually according to the method specified in GB250-84 "Gray Sample Card for Evaluation of Color Change". The depth allowable error is not more than 4 levels. 5 Preservation When preserving this standard depth color card, pay attention to avoid heat, light, moisture and moth. The original preservation should be kept in a special wooden box lined with black paper and kept by the unit designated by the Ministry of Chemical Industry. 6 Distribution The text part and the color chart part of this standard are issued separately. The text part is published by China Standards Press, and the dyeing standard depth color chart part is issued by Xinhua Store. For the convenience of use, it is made into folding cards and reproduced and issued by Shanghai Dyestuff Research Institute.
