The Beijing Library has also installed a low-temperature box in the laboratory, which can reach a minimum temperature of -40°C to handle a small number of insect-infested books. 5 Related standards GB 9237 General technical specifications for refrigeration equipment Technical conditions for low-temperature test boxes GB 10589 ZBC 44006 General technical conditions for low-temperature boxes ZBC 47012 ZBC 47010 Medical assembled cold storage Medical low temperature box (Li Jingren) ISO9706:1994 "Information and Documentation--Requirements for the Durability of Documentation Paper" Description ISO9706:1994 standard was proposed by ISO/TC46/SC10, the Material Protection Subcommittee of Documentation of the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee for Information and Documentation, and was developed on the basis of the American National Standard for Information Science ANSI Z39.48-1984 "Durability of Paper for Library Printing Materials". This standard was revised in 1992, and its technical requirements are consistent with the American National Standard ANSI/NISDE39.48:1992 "Durability of Paper for Documentation and Publications in Libraries and Archives". Among the four performances, two requirements, namely the tear strength and oxidation resistance limits, are slightly different. Appendix A and Appendix B are part of the entire standard. Appendix C is for reference only. The purpose of this international standard is to provide paper with high durability. The so-called high durability refers to paper with little or no change in the indicators affecting its stability and usability after long-term storage in a protective environment. It is suitable for printing or writing documents that need to be preserved and used for a long time, such as books, archives, important information documents, etc. This international standard is based on a certain number of quantitative tests, and limit values are listed for each test. The paper determined by this international standard to be suitable for long-term preservation of documents and publications must be within the given limits after passing the test. All paper products that meet the requirements of this international standard, their printed products, and other finished products, can be marked with a statement of conformity and approval. The symbol and statement are described in Appendix B. (Li Jingren) GB/T13191-191 "Statistical Standards for Information and Documentation Work Institutions" Explanation 1 Purpose and scope of application of this standard "Statistical Standards for Information and Documentation Work Institutions" is composed of statistical indicator systems and statistical indicators, which include statistical items, statistical quantities, and statistical units. The purpose of formulating this standard is to promote the standardization of statistical work of information and document work institutions in my country and to achieve international standardization to meet the needs of international document information exchange and cooperation. The scope of application of this standard is the statistical work of information centers, libraries, archives and other document institutions at all levels and types. 2 Basis for the formulation of this standardwww.bzxz.net This standard is equivalent to the 1974 revision of ISO/DP2789 "Document-International Library Statistics Standard", based on the actual situation of statistical work in my country's document institutions. At the same time, it also refers to the drafting of statistical standards for document work by UNESCO, American libraries, former Soviet libraries and scientific and technological information institutes. 3 Historical overview of the formulation and revision of this standard The "Draft of the Implementation of International Standards for Library Statistics" was drafted at the expert meeting convened by UNESCO in May 1970. At the 16th meeting of UNESCO in Paris in November 1970, the "Draft of the Implementation of International Standards for Library Statistics" was recommended to all member states as a proposal and formally voted and passed. Since then, the ISO/DP2789 draft proposal "Documentation - International Library Statistics Standard" was formed, and the revised version of this international standard was published in 1974. The drafting of the national standard "Statistical Standard for Information and Documentation Institutions" was mainly based on the 1974 revised version of ISO/DP2789. , this standard was drafted by the Eighth Branch of the National Technical Committee for Documentation Standardization in 1987, the draft for comments was completed in September 1988, the draft for approval was completed in April 1989, and it was officially approved as a national standard in December 1991. 4 Main contents of this standard Part 1: Introduction Part 2: Reference standards Part 3: Terminology Part 4: Notice of statistical data Includes: start and end time of statistical data; various information and documentation agencies; collections, collection volume, collection volume; utilization of information and documentation agencies: revenue and expenditure of information and documentation agencies; personnel of information and documentation agencies; equipment of information and documentation agencies, and building area of information and documentation agencies. 5 Precautions for using this standard 5.1 The "Statistical Standards for Information and Documentation Agencies" is the basis for administrative leading agencies at all levels and grassroots documentation agencies to formulate statistical reporting systems and determine statistical indicators. It is not the specific implementation system and indicators for any information and documentation agency to carry out statistical work. When implementing statistics, each grassroots unit must comply with the statistical system and requirements of the system or the superior administrative agency to carry out statistical work, and cannot do things on its own. 5.2 When formulating the statistical reporting system, the higher-level competent departments should use statistical standards. At the same time, when choosing to use statistical indicators, they must clarify the meaning of each statistical indicator and explain it. Avoid ambiguity and ambiguity of indicators. For example, in the statistical standards, the statistical indicator of the amount of collection refers to the number of books and periodicals that have been eliminated, transferred or cancelled, rather than the number of circulation. At present, due to the lack of statistical standards, my country's information and documentation agencies have non-standard statistical indicators and unclear meanings in actual work, resulting in incomparable statistical data. 5.3 In statistical work, the unification of measurement units is an important aspect of accurate and comparable statistical data. The "Statistical Standards for Information and Documentation Agencies" clearly stipulates the measurement units. In the setting of measurement units, attention should be paid to aligning with the statistics of international libraries and documentation agencies, taking into account both my country's habits and international practices. For example, in the statistics of printed document collection, the measurement units include: type, volume, bound volume, and the number of meters of the total length of the bookshelf. The first three are the customary usage of my country's information and documentation agencies, and the latter is the usage of international libraries. 5.4 After the "Statistical Standards for Information and Documentation Work Institutions" was officially approved, it was not well implemented. The main reason is that the Eighth Branch of the National Technical Committee for Document Standardization did not organize the publicity and implementation well, and the statistical standards did not attract the attention of the higher administrative leadership of information and documentation work institutions, and they were even unaware of the existence of statistical standards. Therefore, the publicity and implementation of statistical standards for information and documentation work institutions is the focus of future work. 6 Related standards ISO/DP2789 Documents—International Library Statistics Standards GB4894~-85 Basic Vocabulary Terms for Information and Documentation Work (Fuping) Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
