This standard replaces GB/T19142-2003 "General Rules for Packaging of Export Commodities".
Compared with GB/T19142-2003, the main changes of this standard are as follows:
---GB/T19786 and GB/T1413 are added as reference documents, and three obsolete items are deleted;
---Chapter 4 Classification, Chapter 9 Packaging Sampling, Chapter 10 Packaging Inspection and Appendix A are deleted;

The terms and definitions established in GB/T4122.1 apply to this standard. 4 Basic requirements
4.1 Packaging should be in accordance with the relevant provisions of international trade regulations and the laws and regulations of the importing country, and comply with the requirements related to life safety and the environment. Environmental protection, safeguarding consumer interests and reducing resource consumption requirements 1

4.1.1 The packaging materials, containers and labels of food, medicine and cosmetics shall comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the importing country. 4.1.2 The sales packaging (label) of dead goods shall comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the importing country, and the warnings stipulated for specific commodities shall not be omitted. 4.1.3 The packaging and its auxiliary materials shall not use natural animal and plant materials without any processing. 4.1.4 Wooden packaging shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of Appendix B of GB/T19786--2005. 4.1.5 The content of heavy metals or dangerous chemicals in packaging or packaging materials shall comply with the provisions of GB/T16726.1. 4.1.6 The quantitative quantity and expression of pre-packaged products shall comply with the laws and regulations of the importing country or the living habits of consumers, and the measurement unit shall comply with the regulations of the importing country. Pre-packaged products should meet the following requirements: if they can be opened repeatedly, obvious signs should be left after the first opening (preventive packaging can be easily removed by the prescribed method): they can prove that the reserved space is necessary and appropriate; they can be recycled or safely disposed of after being discarded. 4.1.7 The label of pre-packaged products should be in the dialect of the importing country, the common language or the language specified in the contract. The initial content should at least include the following basic elements: the nature of the product; the name of the product in the prescribed language and location; the net content; detailed instructions if necessary; dosage, purpose or usage; manufacturer packaging; 4.2 The packaging and decoration should be 5.1 The packaging should be suitable for the physical and chemical properties of the product and the selected materials and containers. According to the actual needs, accurate and complete domain labels, labels, transportation methods, inspection standards, etc. should be clearly stipulated in the contract in a standardized and unambiguous language. 5.4 The closed packaging container should leave appropriate gaps according to the physical and chemical properties of the product inside and the foreseeable high temperature environment. 5.5 When the shape of the sales packaging is When the shape is not suitable or the size is too small to print labels, a method such as a tag can be used. 5.6 The shape and size of the transport package should be coordinated with the specifications and sizes of the pallet, carrier and container to be used. When the contract does not make special provisions, the shape and size of the package can be selected according to GB/T4893, GB/T13201. GB/T13757GB/T15233. The size of the pallet can be found in GB/T2934 and GB/T16470. The internal size of the container can be found in GB/T14115.7 The packaging of any product should be carried out in a clean and hygienic environment, and there should be no pollution or traces of dust, sewage, oil stains, hand sweat, etc. 5.8 Transport packages shall be inspected in accordance with the provisions of the contract. When the contract does not make specific provisions, a performance test outline may be prepared in accordance with GB/T4857.17 and GB/T4857.18, and the inspection shall be carried out according to the items and strength specified in the test outline. 6 Marking and identification requirements
6. The markings and identifications shall be clear and eye-catching, and the size shall be coordinated with the size of the packaging, and shall remain in good condition in a visible use environment and within the specified validity period of 2

6.2 The barcode on the package shall comply with the provisions of GB/T18127. The barcode shall be printed clearly and the lines shall be smooth. GB/T19142—2008
6.3 When the packaging needs to be printed with product safety, energy saving, green dot and other signs, it shall have corresponding certificates. 6.4 For the graphic signs of packaging, storage and transportation, please refer to the provisions of GB/T191, for the signs of transport packaging, please refer to the provisions of GB/T5388, and for the signs of packaging recycling, please refer to the provisions of GB18455.
