Verification procedure for cotton colorimeter
This regulation is applicable to the verification of colorimetry of new, used and repaired cotton. Overview
1 Cotton colorimeter (hereinafter referred to as colorimeter) is an instrument for measuring the color of cotton based on the principle of colorimetry. The colorimetry measuring part of the instrument consists of a light source, filters, detectors, etc. The relative spectral transmittance of the original light source, the equivalent spectral transmittance of filters and all optical elements, and the relative spectral power distribution of the photoelectric detection area and the standard luminaire are proportional or approximately proportional to the product of the standard chromaticity coefficient.
In the chromaticity measurement of cotton, the HT system is generally used. The parameters R represents the color of cotton, R represents the reflectance factor, h represents the red or green component of the reflected light, and h represents the yellow or blue component of the reflected light. The X, Y, and Z-stimulus values of the object are measured using the IF1931 chromaticity system, which can be calculated as the R value of the object. There is the following correlation between the HT system and the IF1931 chromaticity system: R = F+ = 175f,(1.02X - Y)

For cotton, the main factor is the change of Rd+5 parameters, so the sum of 1 is generally used to represent the color characteristics of cotton.
2 Technical requirements
2 External and basic condition requirements
2.1 The colorimeter should have a nameplate indicating the name, manufacturer, product number and manufacturing date of the instrument. 2.2 The colorimeter should not have defects that affect the measurement performance. The panel and surface of the newly manufactured colorimeter should not have scratches, cracks and deformation. The surface should not have bubbles, etc. 2.3 The optical, mechanical and electrical operating parts of the colorimeter should function normally. The display and indication parts should be complete and stable. 2.4 The matching white board and negative board should be stable and stable, and there should be no defects that affect the performance.
