Standard SJ2206-82 of the Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China K-21 series reflex klystron Published on November 26, 1982 Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China Implemented on July 1, 1983 Standard K-21 series reflex klystron of the Ministry of Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China SJ2206-82 This standard applies to K-21 series This series of klystrons (including K--21A, K-21B and K-21C, hereinafter referred to as klystrons) are metal cavity tunable reflection klystrons working in the 8 mm band, with waveguide output. They are mainly used as local oscillators and low-power milli-relaid wave signal sources in radar receivers. This standard is a supplement to SJ34773 "General Technical Conditions for Reflection Klystrons". Except for the contents specified in this standard, the rest shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Technical Conditions for Reflection Klystrons. 1 The outer dimensions and electrode leads of the klystron shall comply with the provisions of the outer shape drawing and electrode wiring diagram. 2 The parameters and test conditions of the klystron shall comply with the provisions of Table 1 (Parameter Specification Table). 3 Vibration intensity test (Article 8, Paragraph (1) of SJ347-73) Fix the klystron on a moving table, vibrate continuously for 30 minutes in the vertical and horizontal directions of the klystron axis with an amplitude of 0.35mm (or an acceleration of 5g) and a vibration frequency of 10~55Hz. After the test, there should be no mechanical damage. The "JQ" class electrical parameters should comply with the provisions of Table 1. 4 Vibration stability test (Article 8, Paragraph (2) of SJ347-73) Fix the klystron on a vibration table, vibrate continuously for 10 minutes in the vertical and horizontal directions of the klystron axis with an acceleration of 2.5g and a vibration frequency of 25Hz in the working state. During the vibration process, the oscillation of the klystron should not be interrupted. 5 Collision test Fix the klystron on the collision table, and continuously magnetically impact the klystron 1000 ± 10 times in the vertical and horizontal directions with the axis of the klystron at an acceleration of 10g and a collision frequency of 6 times per minute. After the test, there should be no mechanical damage. The "JQ" class electrical parameters should comply with the provisions of Table 1. 6 Small ball impact test (Article 8, Paragraph (4) of SJ347-73)Fix the klystron in the power measurement equipment system, so that the output power of the klystron is adjusted to the maximum and works stably. The working frequency of the klystron during the impact is, and the impact position is in the cavity of the tube body and on the opposite side of the output window. During the impact, the steel ball falls freely at an angle of 60 degrees to the equilibrium position. After three impacts, the change in output power should not be greater than 10% of the maximum power. 7 High temperature dynamic test (Article 11 of SJ347--73) Place the klystron in a temperature-adjustable thermostat and make the klystron work stably at room temperature: then raise the temperature to 70±2℃, keep it for 1 hour and measure the output power. The value shall not drop by more than 20% before the test and shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. The value shall not be less than 10 megohms: the insulation resistance between the tube shell (i.e. the resonant cavity) and the reflector and the insulation resistance between the tube shell and the focusing shall not be less than 100 megohms: the ion current of the reflector shall be less than 15 microamperes. 9 Low temperature dynamic test (Article 12 of SJ347-73) Place the klystron in a thermostatic box with adjustable temperature, then lower the temperature of the thermostatic box to -40±3℃, keep it for 1 hour, and then add voltage to each pole. Then measure the stable frequency establishment time, and its value should comply with the provisions of Table 1. Re-adjustment test (Article 13 (1) of SJ347-73) 10 Turn the knob of the mechanical tuning mechanism to continuously adjust the klystron from one extreme frequency to another extreme frequency within the working frequency band. After 500 re-adjustments, the frequency tuning range and output power of the klystron should comply with the provisions of Table 1. 11 Filament on-off test (Article 14 of SJ347-73) The klystron filament is powered on for two and a half minutes and then disconnected for two and a half minutes, for a total of 500 times. After the test, the filament current value should comply with the provisions of Table 1. Routine test (Article 24 of SJ347-73) Routine test is carried out by the inspection department of the manufacturer once every quarter (or three months of continuous production), and 5 pieces are selected for test each time. During the test, no more than 1 klystron that does not meet the requirements of any item of "LX" category is qualified. Otherwise, another 5 pieces should be taken for retest. If there is still one unqualified, the routine test is unqualified. If the quarterly output is more than 100 pieces, it shall be carried out in accordance with "Articles 21 and 23 of SJ347-73". 13 Life test (Articles 25, 27 and 28 of SJ347-73) Life test is carried out by the inspection department of the manufacturer once every quarter (or three months of continuous production), and 2 pieces are selected for test each time. During the test, the klystron operating frequency f., f2, f, is carried out in the order of one third of the specified time. If one piece fails during the test, another 2 pieces should be taken for retest. If there is still one unqualified, the life test is unqualified. If the quarterly output is greater than 100 pieces, it shall be implemented in accordance with "Article 26 of SJ347-73". The life test assessment standard shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 14 The transportation bump test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of "Article 33, paragraph (2) item b of SJ347-73" 15 The maximum temperature of the tube shell during operation of the klystron shall not exceed 130℃. 16 The operating frequency range of each model of the K-21 series of reflection klystrons shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. 17 Article 3, Article 13 (2), (3) and (4) of SJ347-73 "General Technical Requirements for Reflection Klystrons" do not apply to this series of reflection klystrons.
