Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the basic series parameters that characterize the characteristics of low-pressure turbine expanders. JB/T590492
This standard applies to centrifugal turbine expanders (hereinafter referred to as "expanders") with an inlet pressure of no more than 1.6 MPa (absolute pressure) in air separation and liquefaction processes, which obtain cooling capacity by expansion work. Two-phase expanders can be implemented as a reference.
2 Basic series parameters
2.1 Expander reference state
2.1.1 The expander reference state is a specific calculation state used to convert the standard flow rate of the expander required for the assessment condition to the standard flow rate at the reference state. The value of the quantity is used to check the equivalent efficiency level of the expander. In this way, the mutual comparison benchmark of expanders with different parameters is unified. 2.1.2 The base state of the expander is:
a. Working medium: air;
b. Inlet pressure p. = 0.60MPa;
Outlet pressure: p=0.15MPa;
Inlet temperature: T. = 130K.
2.2 Conversion formula
The conversion formula for the standard flow rate of the expander design (assessment) working condition and the standard flow rate of the base state is: () (ZRT.)
ZRT.
Where: q.
(P) ()
Standard flow rate of expander in reference state, (0°C, 101.325kPa), m*/h; Standard flow rate of expander in design (assessment) working condition, (0°, 101.325kPa), m*/h; Density of working medium in design working condition, (0C, 101.325kPa).kg/m2; Density of working medium in reference state, (0°C, 101.325kPa), kg/m*; Compressibility coefficient of working medium in design working condition; Working medium in reference state Compressibility coefficient of the medium; Gas constant of the working medium. . —The equivalent index of the working medium in the reference state. 2.3 Standard diameter of the working wheel of the expander
2.3.1 The standard diameter of the working wheel of the expander refers to the nominal value of the true diameter size at the inlet of the blade of the working wheel of the expander. 2.3.2 The standard diameter series of the working wheel of the expander is R20 (32·63), R10 (63125), R40 (120·160), R10 (190·300), R40/3 (300·430 ) and R20(450.) and other six sections of four common ratios of the composite series 2.3.3 The standard diameter of the expander impeller is shown in the following table: mm

R40 series
R40/3 series

R40/3 series
Note: ① When selecting the standard diameter of the impeller, the series with a large common ratio should be given priority. 63
② The values in brackets in the table are only allowed to be used on the original products and modified products. 2.4 The relationship between the standard flow rate and the equal efficiency of the expander under the reference state The equal efficiency value of the expander under the reference state shall not be lower than that specified in Figure 1. 2.5 Standard flow-standard diameter block diagram under expander reference state 80
The relationship between standard diameter and standard flow under expander reference state should be placed in the block diagram shown in Figure 2. 2
