Preface
This standard is equivalent to adopting the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC60432-2:1999. It is completely consistent with IEC60432-2 in terms of technical content and writing format
With the orientation of cold reflective lighting Tungsten halogen lamps are widely used in the lighting field. The quality level of products on the market is uneven, and product safety requirements cannot be guaranteed as they should be. The quality issues and safety issues in use of tungsten halogen lamp products urgently require a standard. specification. Through the formulation of this standard, the performance and safety level of my country's tungsten halogen lamp products can be improved, which will help my country's tungsten halogen lamp products enter the international market and participate in international competition.
Appendix A and Appendix B of this standard are appendices of the standard. Appendix C of this standard is a reminder appendix.

IEC Foreword
1) International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide standardization organization composed of electrotechnical committees (IEC national committees) around the world. The purpose of the IEC is to promote international cooperation on standards-related issues in the electrical and electronic fields. To this end, among other activities, the IEC publishes International Standards. The formulation of standards is entrusted to various sub-technical committees. If any IEC national committee is interested in the subject discussed, it can participate in the formulation of the standard. All international, governmental and non-governmental organizations that have liaison relations with IEC can also participate in the development of standards. IEC and the International Organization for Standardization ISO have mutual agreements and close relations. 2) IEC's formal resolutions or agreements on technical issues express international consensus on various issues to the greatest extent possible, because each technical committee has representatives from national committees interested in it. 3) These resolutions or protocols are published in the form of standards, technical reports or guidelines in the form of recommendations for international use and are accepted by the national committees in this sense.
4) In order to promote international unification, IEC National Committees should try their best to adopt IEC international standards as their national standards or regional standards. Any differences between IEC standards and corresponding national or regional standards should be clearly stated in the national or regional standards.
5) The IEC Committee does not provide any mark indicating conformity and certification, and is not responsible for any equipment or device claiming to comply with a certain standard of the IEC Committee.
6) Please note that some contents in this standard recommendation may involve patent issues, and IEC is not responsible for the identification and appraisal of all such patent rights.
IEC60432-2 was developed by the TC34A Sub-Technical Committee (Lamps) of the IEC34 Technical Committee (Lamps and Related Accessories). This technical revision is the second edition of this standard, replacing the 1994 first edition and its 1996 and 1997 revisions. This standard should be used together with the IEC60432-1 standard. idt IEC 60432-2: 1999
1.1 Scope
This standard specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements for tungsten halogen lamps for general lighting. It includes tungsten halogen lamps that directly replace traditional tungsten filament lamps and new tungsten halogen lamps that are not specified in GB14196.1. The safety and interchangeability requirements of these tungsten halogen lamps specified in this standard should be consistent with the provisions of GB14196.1 In conjunction with. These tungsten halogen lamps have the following characteristics: rated power is below 250W (including 250W): rated voltage is between 50V~250V (including 50V, 250V); - lamp head is: B15d.B22dE12, E14, E17, E26, E26d+E26 /50×39,E27 or E27/51×39. This standard also includes single-ended tungsten halogen lamps that cannot directly replace traditional tungsten lamps but have the same purpose and the same ratings as above. NOTE: This does not indicate that those tungsten halogen lamps used to replace incandescent tungsten lamps use the same shaped glass envelope as incandescent tungsten lamps. 1.2 Referenced Standards
"The provisions contained in the following standards constitute provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the editions indicated are valid. All standards will be revised, and use this standard Parties to the standard should explore the possibility of using the latest version of the following standards: GB314196.1--2002 Safety requirements for tungsten filament lamps for general lighting in homes and similar situations (idtIEC60432-1: 1999) IEC60050 (845) International Electrotechnical Vocabulary (IEV) Chapter 845: Lighting IEC60410 Attribute Inspection Sampling Plan and Sampling Procedure 1.3 Definition
In addition to the definition in GB14196.1, this standard also adopts the following definition 1.3.1 Specific effective radiant UV power. The effective ultraviolet radiation power related to the light flux, unit: mW/klm,
For reflective light bulbs, the specific effective ultraviolet radiation power refers to the effective radiance of ultraviolet radiation related to the illuminance, unit: mW/( m2×klx)
Note: The effective ultraviolet radiation power (or irradiance) is calculated based on the laser spectrum published by the American Association of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and the weighted average of the spectral energy distribution of the lamp. . This method is recognized by the World Health Organization (WH) and recommended by the International Radiation Protection Association. 1.3.2 Outer envelope

Alternating pulse test
Adopt G1314196.1-2002 requirements for D1 and D2, except where a high-power laser needs to be used instead of a pulse generator to cause the filament to burn out.
Note: Applicable lasers include neodymium glass lasers. A2 test procedure (using laser)
Insert the bulb under test into the lamp holder and put the safety cover in place. The laser passes through the small hole in the safety cover and focuses on the filament in a straight line. Turn on the light switch and apply rated voltage to the meter. After the lamp has fully warmed up, laser pulses are applied to it. If the lamp remains illuminated, increase the output power of the laser and apply another laser pulse to it. Repeat this until the filament burns out. Note: If the surface finish of the lamp or the structure of the outer glass bulb causes the laser beam to focus dispersed, a specially prepared sample should be used. A3 Inspection and Evaluation
After the test, each tested bulb should be inspected to see if the following conditions occur: a) glass bulb is damaged;
b) or the glass bulb is separated from the lamp cap:
c) or test. For bayonet lamp holders only, if there is a short circuit between the contact and the housing and one of the above conditions occurs, the lamp under test will be deemed to have failed the test and will be judged as unqualified. Appendix B
