JB/T 8879—2001 This standard is a revision and merger of JB/T 8879—1999 and JB/T 5390—1991. The revision adds requirements for definitions, terms, codes, and classifications; adds the measurement method of clearance of large-size radial spherical plain bearings and the inspection method of hardness. This standard specifies the general technical conditions for spherical plain bearings. Supplementary technical conditions should be formulated separately for bearings for special purposes. This standard applies to spherical plain bearings whose dimensions conform to GB/T 9161 "spherical plain bearings rod ends", GB/T 9163 "spherical plain bearings thrust spherical plain bearings", GB/T 9163 "spherical plain bearings radial spherical plain bearings" and GB/T 9164 "spherical plain bearings angular contact spherical plain bearings". It is for production, inspection by manufacturers and acceptance by users. This standard does not apply to spherical plain bearings for aircraft frames. China Machinery Industry Federation Xin 2001-05-23 approved 2001-10-01 implementation model 4 Classification and code 4.1 Classification H88792001 The classification of spherical plain bearings shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T304.1: 4.2 Code The code of spherical plain bearings shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB.304.2; 5 Overall dimensions 5.1 The overall dimensions of radial spherical plain bearings shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB9163; 5.2 The overall dimensions of angular contact spherical plain bearings shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB9164. 5.3 The outer dimensions of the thrust joint bearing shall comply with the provisions of GB/T9162. 5.4 The outer dimensions of the spherical joint bearing shall comply with the provisions of GB/T911. 6 Technical requirements 6.1 Materials and hardness %. 1.1 The inner ring and the outer ring of the bearing (except the extruded outer ring) shall be made of high-chromium auxiliary steel such as GCrIs or CiCrIsSiMn. The hardness of the inner ring and the outer ring of the bearing (except the extruded outer ring) shall be 58-64HRC, the hardness of the outer ring of the bearing shall be 54~60HRC, and the heat treatment quality shall comply with the provisions of GB/T25S. The extruded outer ring shall be made of 45 high-quality structural steel or bearing steel (not hardened); the insert type outer ring shall be made of 45 high-quality carbon structural steel or bearing steel, with a hardness of 26-34HRC.
