This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of sound grenade signals for ships. This standard applies to sound grenade signals used for rescue or warning of ships in distress. It meets the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972.

3.1.1 Sound grenade signals for ships are pyrotechnic signals that are thrown, pulled or fired. Its main components include: a.
Signal charge;
Ignition device;
Shell;
Connector;
Safety cover.
3.1.2 The outer diameter of the marine sonic grenade signal shall not exceed 40mm, the total length shall not exceed 100mm, and the total mass shall not exceed 150g. 3.2 Marking example

4 Technical requirements
4.1 The manufacture of marine sonic grenade signals must comply with the technical requirements of Chapter 4 of GB3107.1. 4.2 The audible distance of the spatial explosion sound of this product shall not be less than 2n mile. 4.3 The charge is made of stable gunpowder. 4.4 The duration from pulling to detonation is 2.4~~2.8s. The operator and any nearby personnel will not be harmed during the whole process of ignition, throwing and explosion.
4.5 The signal housing shall be made of non-metallic materials that do not hurt people. 4.6 The connecting parts shall be made of plastic or equivalent materials. 4.7 The safety cover shall be made of metal or plastic. The safety cover made of metal shall be treated with surface anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment. 4.8 The performance of this product shall not be affected after being immersed in water at a depth of 10cm for 5 minutes in the ready-to-fire state. 4.9 After free falling from a height of 2m according to the specified test method, this product is still in a safe state and works effectively. 4.10 This signal shall work effectively after repeating 10 cycles at an ambient temperature of 30~+65℃. 4.11 It should be able to withstand low temperature of 30℃ and high temperature of +65℃ respectively, and work effectively under this ambient temperature. 4.12 It can work effectively under any sea conditions of high temperature of +65℃ and relative humidity of 90%. 4.13 This product should be able to withstand the salt spray test of 20% NaCI solution. 4.14 This product should work effectively after being immersed in water horizontally for 1m for 24h. 5 Test method
The test method of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB3107.1. 6 Inspection rules
6.1 The inspection rules of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 6 of GB3107.1. 6.2 The items, technical requirements and sampling quantity of this product for export inspection shall be in accordance with the requirements in the table below. Serial number

6.3 If one item of appearance and assembly quality of this product is unqualified, it will be re-inspected with double times. If one item is still unqualified after the re-inspection, the whole batch will be returned for repair and re-inspection.
If one item of performance of this product is unqualified, it will be re-tested with double times. If one item is still unqualified after the re-inspection, the whole batch will be scrapped. 6.5 If this product has not obtained the product approval certificate, each batch is 240 pieces. After obtaining the product approval certificate, each batch is 480 pieces. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
The marking, packaging, transportation and storage of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 7 of GB3107.1. Additional remarks:
