This standard specifies the test equipment, sample preparation, test steps, test results and calculations for bending test. This standard applies to bending test of cables for fixed laying. 4 Sample preparation
The cable to be tested is used as the sample, and its length should be able to circle at least on the first diameter of the cylinder specified in the standard. 5 Test steps
5.1 The bending test shall be carried out at 20+5℃ or at the temperature specified in the relevant standards. 5.2 The height of the test cylinder shall comply with the table or relevant standards. 5.3 The test specimen shall be wound around the test cylinder at a high speed for one full circle, and the operation time shall not be less than 10s. Then the test cylinder shall be straightened and bent repeatedly in the opposite direction, with the inner straight line as one bend. 5.4 Unless otherwise specified in the relevant standards, in general, the intelligent sheathed cable shall be bent twice, and other non-aluminum sheathed cables shall be bent once.
