Germination rate and seed health rate of cotton seeds shall be tested in accordance with GB3543. During the germination test, the distance between coated seeds shall be at least twice that of the size of the coated seeds, and the test time shall be extended by 48h. 5.3.5 Coating qualified rate test
Randomly select 3 samples from the average sample, each with 200 seeds. Use a magnifying glass to visually observe each seed. Seeds with a surface coating coverage area of not less than 80% are qualified coated seeds. Count the number of qualified coated seeds and calculate according to formula (1). The results are recorded in Table 3. H

If there is one unqualified item in the inspection result, it will be judged as unqualified coated seeds, and the handling opinions will be noted in the inspection result report. The grade of qualified coated seeds is graded according to purity. 6 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
6.1 Marking
GB 15671--1995
Coated seeds should be marked on the packaging. The marking should comply with the provisions of GB7414~7415 and GB12475, and the active ingredient content of the pesticide in the seed coating and the ratio of the pesticide to the seed in the coated seed should be noted. 6.2 Packaging
Coated seeds are packed in bags to prevent rain and moisture. The packaging materials are plastic bags, plastic woven bags, and composite paper bags. The packaging specifications shall comply with the provisions of GB7414~7415. The bag should contain the certificate of conformity and instructions for use. The packaging shall not be reused. 6.3 Transportation
For anti-toxic matters during the transportation of coated seeds, the provisions of GB12475 shall apply. When loading and unloading coated seeds, they should be handled with care to prevent the film coating from falling off.
6.4.1 Seeds after color coating cannot be transported immediately. They must be stored after the seed coating forms a film according to the requirements of the seed coating agent used. 6.4.2 Coated seeds must be stored in batches in a special warehouse. The warehouse must be dry and the storage period at room temperature shall not exceed 4 months. 6.4.3: Other matters during storage shall apply the provisions of GB7414~7415 and GB12475. 151

Appendix A
Technical regulations for coating operation
(Supplement)
The seeds to be coated should be the crop varieties approved and recognized by the crop variety approval agency, and their quality should meet the requirements of GB4404~~4409.
The cotton seeds to be coated must be light seeds that have been delinted and carefully selected. The residual lint content should not exceed 0.2%, and the residual acid content on the surface should not exceed 0.15%.
A1.2 Seed coating agent
According to the type of seeds to be coated and the occurrence of pests and diseases, select the appropriate seed coating agent formulation, and its quality should meet the requirements of the product standards. A1.3 Coating machine
Select seed coating machines and lifting and conveying machinery that have been certified and have reliable performance, and their quality meets the requirements of product standards. A2 Operators
A2.1 Operators must be healthy adults with a junior high school education or above. They must undergo technical training before taking up their posts and have proficient operating skills.
A2.2 Operators should stick to their posts and regularly check the quality of seeds, seed coating agents, coating machines, and coated seeds during operations. If any abnormalities are found, they should be dealt with in a timely manner.
A2.3 When changing crop varieties, thoroughly clean the coating machinery, utensils, and workplace. A2.The continuous working time of 4 shifts shall not exceed 6h. Keep good production records. The production records are shown in Table A1. Table A1 Production Record Table

A3 Key Points for Coating Operation
GB15671-1995
A3.1 Start the coating machine and conduct an idle operation inspection. The idle operation time is greater than 5min. There should be no abnormal sound during the inspection. A3.2 Adjust the feeding position so that the coating machine works within the rated production rate. A3.3 Fill the storage barrel with seed dressing agent, start the drug supply pump, and slowly open the drug inlet and return valves to allow the seed dressing agent to enter the metering medicine box and maintain a constant storage volume.
A3.4 Adjust the feeding amount of the metering hopper; select the appropriate specifications of the medicine spoon. A3.5 Start the coating machine, and at the same time, take samples three times at the outlet of the coating machine and the metering medicine box at regular intervals, and calculate the drug-seed ratio after weighing. The drug-seed ratio should comply with the regulations for seed dressing agents
A3.6 During the operation, the liquid level of the seed dressing agent in the metering medicine box should always remain stable. A3.7 After the operation, clean the machine in time and do a good job of repair and maintenance. A4 Safety protection
A4.1 The workplace should be well ventilated, and the amount of radan dissipated in the environment should not exceed 0.1mg/m2. The method for detecting the concentration of chloranthate in the air is to collect the sample with a glass fiber filter membrane, extract with methanol, separate the extract with a high performance liquid chromatograph through a reverse phase Ci column, and detect with UV-280nm, using retention time for qualitative analysis and peak height for quantitative analysis. A4.1.1 Use a glass fiber filter membrane to extract 50~~100L of air at a speed of 10L/min. Sampling is done at three points in total, one point is 0.5m near the seed dressing agent entering the machine, and the other two points are 0.5m near the seed outlet of the coating machine. A4.1.2 Place the sampled filter membrane and the control sample in a 10mL stoppered colorimetric tube, add 6mL of methanol, put it in an ultrasonic cleaner for extraction for 5min, filter, and enter the supernatant into a liquid chromatograph for qualitative analysis using retention time and quantitative analysis using peak height, and calculate according to formula (A1). A4.2 Wear a gas mask and gloves when handling seed dressing agents and coated seeds. If there is any injury during operation, leave the job immediately. A4.3 It is strictly forbidden to take seed dressing agents and coated seeds into the mouth, and it is strictly forbidden for minors to contact seed dressing agents and coated seeds.
