Welded milling cutters should not have sand holes and incomplete penetration at the weld. 3.2 The surface roughness of the milling cutter shall be in accordance with the following provisions: a) Front and back of the teeth: R, 6.3μm; b) The outer circle of the shank of the ordinary straight shank: R.1.25μm c) The outer circle of the shank of the flattened and tapered shanks: R.0.65μm. 3.3 The grooves of conical milling cutters should be made into grooves with equal helix angles. 3.4 The circumferential cutting edge and the ball-end cutting edge should be smoothly connected. 3.5 The shape and position tolerances shall be in accordance with Table 1.
