Business scenario description, message writing rules and data format 4 4.1 Business scenario description The packing list is an indispensable document in the full set of trade documents and a supplementary document to the commercial invoice. It can be used as the main basis for the buyer to check the goods and customs acceptance when receiving the goods. In actual applications, importers and exporters or their designated freight forwarders submit packing lists to the customs and inspection and quarantine agencies of the importers and exporters for customs declaration and inspection of goods. Logistics service providers (such as shipping companies) or their designated agents (such as ship agents) can also verify the cargo information based on them. The sender of the packing list information (exporter, export freight forwarder, etc.) and the receiver (importer, import freight forwarder, inspection and quarantine department, customs, logistics service provider, etc.) exchange necessary information by transmitting the packing list message or one or more related extended data (or files). iiKAoNniKAca GB/T33894—2017 4.2 Message Writing Rules For message writing rules, see Chapter 4 of GB/Z25114.1-2010. 4.3 Message Data Format For the data format in the message, see GB/Z25114.1—2010. 5 Core Party Information 5.1 PartyInformation PartyInformation mainly includes PartyRole, which is used to describe the roles and relationships of the parties, including importers and exporters, import and export freight forwarders, import and export inspection and quarantine agencies, import and export customs, and logistics service providers (such as shipping companies or their designated agents).
