GB/T9126—2003 This standard is a revised version of GB/T9126.1~9126.4---1988 "Dimensions of asbestos rubber gaskets for steel pipe flanges". Corresponding to ISO7483:1991 "Dimensions of gaskets used for pipe flanges in ISO7005", the size modification of this standard adopts ISO7483 when the gasket type, nominal diameter and nominal pressure are the same. The main differences between this standard and the international standard are as follows: - Considering the domestic use, the scope of application of this standard is slightly different from ISO7483 (i.e. the nominal pressure and nominal diameter range); The size series of narrow raised face sealing surface non-metallic flat gaskets (i.e. type II) that are widely used in China has been added. Compared with GB/T9126.1~9126.4—1988, the main changes of this standard are as follows: the original four size standards are merged into one; Some sizes are modified according to ISO7483:1991; the applicable scope of the standard is expanded. This standard replaces GB/T9126.1~9126.4—1988 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Pipeline Accessories. The drafting units of this standard are: Mechanical Science Research Institute, Taicang BMW Sealing Materials Co., Ltd., Zhangjiagang Haiguo Petrochemical Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Wuxi Benda Sealing Factory, Beijing Huaguang Petrochemical Pipe Fittings Factory and Nanjing University of Technology. The main drafters of this standard are: Chen Lin, Ye Baolong, Zhang Lin, Zhao Zhijun, Tian Yuqiu, Ma Zhigang, Gu Boqin, Li Junying. This standard was first issued in 1988 and revised for the first time in 2003. Scope Non-metallic flat gaskets for pipe flanges This standard specifies the types and dimensions of non-metallic flat gaskets for pipe flanges. GB/T9126—2003 This standard applies to non-metallic flat gaskets for flat, raised, concave and convex and grooved pipe flanges with nominal pressures of PNO.25 to PN5.0MPa. Normative references The clauses in the following documents become clauses of this standard through reference in this standard. For dated references, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata) or revisions are not applicable to this standard.
