This standard is in accordance with CB/T 3844 CB/T3844-1999 is a revision of GB 4443-84, which was directly transferred from GB 4443-84 in June 1999, according to the Notice of the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Standardization on the Transformation of Enterprise and Institution Standards and the Notice of the General Administration of Shipbuilding Industry on the Transfer of Ship Professional Standards and Relevant National Standards into Industry Standards. This standard makes the following modifications to CB/T 3844-1999: 1) The material of the body is changed from isotropic steel to welded steel plate; 2) Small specifications are added, and the chain diameter range is expanded from the original 70~132 mm to 42~132 mm. mml3) Extend the main body plate to the deck, which can be directly welded to the deck for easy installation; The external stress-bearing parts, that is, the parts of the main body side plates, are reinforced with thick plates, and the thickness of other parts is reduced during measurement, so that the strength distribution is more reasonable and the total weight is reduced; 4) Add a nominal diameter item in the classification table, 5) Add strength calculation annex A.

This standard shall replace CB/T 38441999 from the date of implementation. This standard was proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Ship Equipment, and this standard is under the jurisdiction of Jiangyin Shipbuilding (Planning) Co., Ltd.
