National Standard of the People's Republic of China Chemical analysis method of manganese orewww.bzxz.net Determination of hygroscopic moisture content in analytical samples GB/T 14949.8-94 Replaces B150579 This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO310-1981 "Determination of hygroscopic moisture content in analytical samples of manganese ore". 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the determination of hygroscopic moisture content in samples by gravimetric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of hygroscopic moisture content in manganese ore and manganese concentrate. Determination range: 0.10%~10%. 2 Summary of method The sample that has been air-dried in advance under laboratory conditions is dried in an oven at 105~110℃ to constant weight. 3 Instruments General laboratory instruments and 3.1*30mm flat weighing bottle with lid. 3.2 Oven that can control the temperature at 105-110℃. 4 Samples The samples should pass through a 0.100mm sieve and be air-dried under laboratory conditions. 5 Analysis steps 5.1 Sample quantity --Gravimetric method. Weigh 2g of sample to an accuracy of 0.0001g and place it in a weighing bottle (3.1) that has been weighed at 105-110℃ in advance. Weigh 3 samples at the same time and measure them in parallel. 5.2 Determination Put the loose-mouth weighing bottle and bottle cap containing the sample (5.1) into an oven (3.2) controlled at 105-110°C. After 2 hours, cap the weighing bottle, take it out, and cool it in a desiccator for 20-30 minutes. Take the weighing bottle out of the desiccator, open the bottle cap slightly, quickly cap it again, and weigh it. Repeat drying (30 minutes each time), cooling, and weighing. Until the difference between two consecutive weighings does not exceed 0.0005g. If the mass of the sample increases after repeated drying, the mass before the increase is taken as the final mass. 6 Calculation of analysis results Calculate the percentage of wet water content according to the following formula: Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on January 18, 1994, and implemented in 1994-1001 Where: m is the mass of the sample in g; CB/T 14949.8-94 A(%) = (mi mz) m,\—the mass of the sample, weighing bottle and bottle cap before drying, g; m:—-the mass of the sample, weighing base bottle and bottle cap after drying, g. ×100 Note: The arithmetic mean of the three replicate determination results of each sample should be used as the wet water content of the sample. 7 Allowable difference Wet water storage 0.10~0.50 >0. 50~j.00 ≥1.00~5.00 >5. 00~10. 00 Additional remarks: This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. Allowable difference This standard is drafted by the Mineral Geology Research Institute of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation and the Changsha Mining Research Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. This standard is drafted by the Guangxi Metallurgical Research Institute. The main drafter of this standard is Rong Bingchi.
