The standard was formulated with reference to GB/26251981 Graphical symbols and text codes for process detection and control flow charts, GB/16567:1986 Graphical symbols for control systems, and GB3102.1~GB3102:121993 Knowledge units (idt[S()31/1-12) and other standards, and is consistent with the above standards. Compared with the previous version, this version has four major changes. The first is the change of the standard name. The original name is Thermal Engineering Graphic Symbols and Text Codes. According to the provisions of GB/T15555·1995 Graphic Symbol Terminology, the standard name is changed to Thermal Engineering Graphic Symbols and Text Codes for Technical Documents. The second is the adjustment of the format and structure of the original standard. The format and structure of the revised standard comply with the provisions of G/1.1999. The third is to modify, supplement and improve the thermal engineering graphic symbols. The modifications and supplements are mainly made in the following five parts: 1. In the piping graphic symbols, the original graphic symbols are modified and the graphics of insulation pipe, protective pipe, casing, heat tracing pipe, shielded pipe, etc. are added. 2. Graphic symbols of pipe connections are added, including screw connection, flange connection, intersection pipe, cross pipe, reducer, etc. 3. In the valve shape symbols, needle-shaped connection, valve adjustment, plug plate adjustment, and self-acting pressure control are added. 4. In the actuator diagram, the electric actuator was revised, the pneumatic actuator and hydraulic actuator were deleted, and the digital actuator and the dynamic actuator were added. The membrane actuator was divided into two types: with spring and without spring.
