Machinery Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China JB/T 5287.2-1991 Disc-type dairy separator Published on July 22, 1991 Implementation on July 1, 1992 by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China Mechanical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Disc-type dairy separator 1 Subject content and scope of application JB/T5287.2-1991 This standard specifies the type and basic parameters, technical requirements and performance test methods of disc-type manual slag discharge type and ring valve slag discharge type dairy separators. This standard applies to disc-type dairy separators (hereinafter referred to as separators) for clarifying and skimming fresh milk (hereinafter referred to as fresh milk). Cited Standards GB5408 GB5409 GB5410 GB5411 GB5413 GB5414 GB5416 GB7781 GB10897 GB10898 3 Terms Detoxified Milk Cow Milk inspection method Whole milk powder Skimmed milk powder Milk powder inspection method Cream Cream inspection method Separator model compilation method Disc separator technical conditions Disc separator test method 3.1 Rated processing capacity The amount of fresh milk that can be clarified or skimmed by the separator under rated working conditions per unit time. 3.2 Rated working conditions 3.2.1 Milk clarification working conditions When the separator is at rated speed and the separated fresh milk meets the relevant provisions in Appendix A of GB5408, the operating conditions when the discharge pressure and impurity index of clarified milk meet the design requirements under the separation temperature conditions of 5~10℃ or 35~45℃. 3.2.2 Milk skimming conditions When the separator is at rated speed, the separated fresh milk meets the relevant provisions in Appendix A of GB5408, and the skimmed milk discharge pressure and fat content meet the design requirements under the separation temperature of 35~45℃. 3.3 Impurity level IL The number of milligrams of mechanical impurities contained in milk. 3.4 Milk standardization According to the process requirements and the grade regulations of the standard, the fat content in the skimmed milk is adjusted. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry on July 22, 1991 and implemented on July 1, 1992 4 Type and basic parameters 4.1 Type and structure JB/T5287.2-1991 4.1.1 The type and structure of the separator shall comply with the provisions of GB7781 and Figures 1 and 2. Figure 1 Manual slag discharge disc separator 4.1.2 The standard adjustment methods of milk for the separator are divided into the following two types: a. Internal adjustment; b. External adjustment. 4.1.3 The control methods of separator slag discharge are divided into the following two types: a. Manual control; b. Timing program control. 4.2 Basic parameters The basic parameters of the separator shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. The nominal diameter of the drum is 500mm, the equivalent sedimentation area is 35×10°cm2, it is used for milk clarification, the fresh milk inlet is clear, the clarified milk outlet is a centripetal pump, and the belt-driven ring valve full-slag type separator is marked as: DHN500/35-21-31 Dairy Separator 5 Technical Requirements 5.1 The design and manufacture of the separator shall comply with this standard and be manufactured according to the drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures. 5.2 The separator shall be able to adapt to the following environmental conditions: 5.2.1 The ambient temperature for use shall not be higher than 50℃; 5.2.2 The temperature for separating milk shall be 5~45℃. 5.3 Performance Requirements 5.3.1 The general requirements for the performance of the separator shall comply with the provisions of Article 3.3 of GB10897. 5.3.2 The processing capacity and separation effect of the separator shall comply with the following provisions: 5.3.2.1 The processing capacity of the separator under rated conditions shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 5.3.2.2 When the separator clarifies or skims milk under rated conditions, the impurities in the clarified milk or skimmed milk shall not exceed 1ppm. 5.3.2.3 When the separator separates milk under rated conditions, if the fat content in the fresh milk is not less than that specified in Appendix A of GB5408, the fat content in the skimmed milk shall not exceed 0.05%. 5.3.3 When the separator extracts cream under rated conditions, if the adjustment range of the volume ratio of cream to skimmed milk is 1:3~1:12, the fat content of the cream shall be 25~40%. 5.3.4 The centripetal pump outlet pressure of the separator shall comply with the following provisions: 5.3.4.1 The outlet pressure of clarified milk shall not be less than 9.8×10°Pa; 5.3.4.2 The outlet pressure of skimmed milk shall not be less than 9.8×10*Pa. If milk standardization operation is required, the outlet pressure of cream and skimmed milk shall meet the process requirements. 5.4 Safety, sanitation and environmental protection requirements 5.4.1 The general requirements for safety, sanitation and environmental protection of the separator shall comply with Article 3.4 of GB10897. 5.4.2 The motor and electrical control box of the separator shall comply with the following provisions: 5.4.2.1 The motor and electrical control box shall meet the use requirements of the separator under the specified environmental conditions. 5.4.2.2 If the separator is used in humid tropical areas, its motor and electrical control box shall be safe and reliable. 5.4.3 The separator drum must be dynamically balanced. The allowable unbalance shall be determined according to Appendix A of GB10897. The total dynamic balance of the drum with a diameter greater than 250mm shall not be greater than 1/1000 of the total mass of the drum; the total dynamic balance of the drum with a diameter less than or equal to 250mm shall not be greater than 1/800 of the total mass of the drum. 5.4.4 The design and manufacture of the flow channels and cavities of the separator parts shall fully consider the convenience of cleaning, and there shall be no dead corners suitable for the growth of microorganisms. 5.4.5 The materials used for the parts and seals of the separator that come into contact with milk shall meet the requirements of GB5408, GB5410, GB5411 and GB5414, and shall not affect the sensory indicators and hygiene indicators of milk and dairy products. 5.5 Appearance quality requirements The appearance quality requirements of the separator shall comply with the requirements of Article 3.5 of GB10897. 4 5.6 Material requirements JB/T5287.2—1991 The materials used in the separator shall comply with the provisions of Article 3.6 of GB10897. 5.7 Manufacturing process requirements The manufacturing process requirements of the separator shall comply with the provisions of Article 3.7 of GB10897. 6 Test methods 6.1 The general test method for the mechanical properties of the separator shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 7 of GB10898. 6.2 Test method for performance of the separator 6.2.1 When the separator is running under rated conditions, it is tested with fresh milk and the following are determined: a. Rated processing capacity; b. Separation effect; c. Fat content of cream. The rated processing capacity shall be determined by the volumetric method or flowmeter method. The measurement time shall not be less than 5 minutes. The arithmetic average of the three measurement data shall be taken. 6.2.2 The sampling of the separation effect of the separator and the fat content of the cream shall comply with the provisions of GB5409, GB5413 and GB5416. 6.2.4 The test of the sample of the separator under the rated working condition shall comply with the following provisions: 6.2.4.1 The method for determining the impurity content of clarified milk or skimmed milk shall comply with the provisions of Article 2.7 of GB5409 and Article 2.7 of GB5413. 6.2.4.2 The method for determining the fat content in skimmed milk shall comply with the provisions of Article 2.3 of GB5409 and Article 2.4 of GB5413. 6.2.4.3 The method for determining the fat content of cream shall comply with the provisions of Article 2.3 of GB5416. Inspection rules 7.1 The general inspection rules for the mechanical properties of the separator shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 4 of GB10897. 7.2 Inspection rules for separation performance 7.2.1 The separation performance test of the separator shall be carried out in a dairy farm or dairy factory, and the test conditions shall comply with the provisions of Article 3.2 of this standard. 7.2.2 The processing capacity, separation effect and fat content of cream of the separator under rated conditions shall comply with the provisions of Articles 5.3.2 and 5.3.3 of this standard.
