Type 2 is used for a stranded conductor. 2.3.2 Insulation The insulation extruded on the conductor shall be a PVC/C type hydrophilic vinyl mixture. The insulation thickness shall comply with the value specified in column 3 of Table 1. The insulation resistance shall not be less than the value specified in column 5 of Table 1.
